Ensured the continuity and security of 24x7x365 operations in two Information Management Data Centers. Worked in close
collaboration and supervision of diverse workforce comprised of Collective Bargaining Unit, Exempt, Non-Exempt, Purchased
Services and Third Party Vendor professionals in multi geographical locations.
Held authority for credential and accreditation certification, security configuration a rchitecture, and infrastructure
aspects for the Information Management Data Centers. Provided Service Help Desk Tier I and Tier II support.
Set the stage for effective and responsive disaster recovery, business continuity, and data center failovers. Developed
process controls, documentation and communication plan for emergencies, disaster recovery, power up, and power
down processes for the data centers.
Maintained Data Centers operations in both natural and mechanical disasters. Directed business continuity of operations
events for closures, failovers for hurricane related events, HVAC and power failure incidents and H/W & S/W failures.

Project Lead, Database Administration (2001 – 2005)
Guided the efforts of Oracle and SQL Database Administrators tasked with maintaining and updating more than 100
databases in multi geographical location supporting company and NASA projects.

o Served as Co-Project Manager for PeopleSoft HRMS and Financials upgrad es from 6.0 through 7.5 to 8.9.
o Developed processes to support the introduction of Oracle Datagaurd recovery with high availability failover..

Played a key role in technical support related to the investigation of the Columbia Shuttle disaster. Directed DBA’s that
backed up and secured data for use in following investigations. The team also developed the database for the grid work
and layout of the recovered shuttle components.

Early career success (1988 – 2001) as a System Administrator and Information Technology Representative with companies
including Grumman, Lockheed, and United Space Alliance. Consolidated and managed multi-million dollar maintenance
contracts to reduce overhead costs from $14M to $8M.
