Engineering /Manufacturing test technician

My Work load includes repairing of D/C to A/C split phase 240 voltage inverters by

troubleshooting down to component level and then functionally test the inverters to insure

they feed voltage back to the utility grid. Run the inverter on an automated HI Pot tester

and complete data base input’s on all repairs. Next I will change traveler information if

needed and then move the inverters on a cart back to the assembly lines functional test or

the pack lines. During company startup I attend video conferences with the Line

supervisor the tech shop manager and the design engineer’s in Germany on biweekly

intervals to resolve manufacturing issues.

PARTICLE MEASURING SYSTEMS 04-06 to 9-28-09

Manufacturing test technician, Service technician

I was hired for test and calibration of micron particle counters in the manufacturing department.

This position also included support for programming, test and repair of circuit cards. I moved to

the service department a little after a year with this company. This position required customer

contact and field service support as needed.

BYERS PEAK (02-2002 to 04-2006)

Engineering support technician

After completing training classes on the Phoenix dialysis machine in Italy, my job was to collected

program performance and part failures data on the machines entering the US. After part upgrade

and program resolutions were completed I then traveled around to customers sites to complete

the machine upgrades.

I was happy to be asked to work with engineering design group from California to get the second

generation Venus (RF Generator) product line started. My jobs include identifying the build

process issues, make procedure correction, replace surface mounted parts during circuit card

design changes, identifying test program issues and repairing test fixtures. After building testing

and shipping the RFG-2 generator for several months myself I then trained employees on all

processes.

CONTRACT ENGINEERING SERVICES (02-2001 to 2-2002)

Lead manufacturing technician at medivance Louisville, CO

Lead for manufacturing floor. The company was transitioning from an engineering design group to

a manufacturing company when I was employed. Supporting the manufacturing floor employees

and build processes required interaction with all support groups.

GAMBRO RENAL PRODUCTS, Lakewood, CO 1987-2000

Finished Device Technician (1994-2000)

Final test and repair of the dialysis and blood separation machines. Support for field service

within the United Sates. Performed evaluations for engineering on part and procedures changes.

Tech support during the design of a new dialysis machine.

Electronic Technician (1992-1994)

Test and repair of in-house built circuit cards for the blood separation machine, dialysis machines

and RO water treatment machine. Worked with project design group during the design of CFS

(century fluid system). Completed evaluations for FDA release.

Manufacturing Technician (1990-1992)

Requested to train technicians and help support machines that I validated while working in R&D.

Attended classes on radio frequency welding machines, multivac packaging machines and gave

tech support for part manufacturing machines for hart lung, Blood components, and Cardial

vascular product lines.

R&D Technician (1987-1990)

Support for engineering on design of blood transducer. This project included testing of transducer

during design. Completing the final changes to the manufacturing machines before use in

manufacturing. The Floor layout of the build process and training of production personnel on the

build of the product.
