Perform inspections utilizing safety and occupational health principles,

to high safety risk aircraft maintenance and repair, bulk fuel storage and
transportation HAZMAT operations and scrap processing involving heavy
equipment operations, and construction sites. Review plans and
specifications for new construction, alterations, or changes to MCBH
property, including airfield hangars, weapons handling facilities or ground
support equipment. Conduct safety inspections of all work centers,
buildings, training facilities, work facilities and construction sites at
least annually, and provide recommended corrective actions. Identify and
conduct safety inspections of high hazard work centers, buildings, training
facilities, and ranges at least semiannually. Conduct building and safety
inspections. Investigate or provide consultation on reports of unsafe or
unhealthful work conditions. Accompany inspectors on all Federal and State
safety and occupational health inspections. Conduct inspections of child
development centers and family home child care facilities.
SAFETY TRAINING/CONSULTATION Developed and provided VPP supervisor safety
training. Provide Osha 10 and 30 Hour Training. Provide IVES Certified
Forklift Training. Provide mishap investigation and reporting training to
supervisors and other mishap investigators.
PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT (PPE) Head, Sight, Hearing, and Foot
