CAT M (Cognitive Automobile Timing Machine): is a mobile version the
•
NHRA Race Track Christmas Tree. It is composed of a parallax
microcontroller and a basic stamp 2 module. Commands are executed
utilizing the PBASIC programming language. The CAT M stages two
automobiles and signals the drivers to commence racing. Once
programmed, it will loop continually. When the vehicles have finished, it
will acquire specific data such as, speed in (mph) and elapsed time in
(seconds). The CAT M uses a complex process with simple components for
example, standard LEDS for signaling drivers and lasers/photodiodes for
capturing data times.
