VP of Ops – Fleet Maintenance and Repair
Was hired by Fleet Maintenance to improve their chassis
operations at CSX Railroad as well as streamline the mechanisms
that were in place both at its’ trailer repair division and
Intermodal Division at the rail.
Successfully implemented new guidelines with remarkable results.
Ensure that company is in compliance with all stringent
requirements of CSX such as
OSHA, DOT, FMCSA, CFR392 Regulations and Safety Requirements
Performed daily audits on chassis repairs, maintained tire
inventories, implemented QAP,
In debt knowledge on tires and tire damages. Familiar with all
aspects of responsible parties
regarding chassis damages. Familiar with tire coding for w/t and
damages, familiar with latest chassis M+R guidelines except for
new ones issued or company specific related requirements.
Fleet Maintenance lost contract with CSX, new vendor did not hire
any personnel of Fleet Maintenance.
2009 Took break from intermodal industry and launched small
business catering to hospitality industry,
which, due to lack of funds, is no longer active.

Providng trailer and intermodal container and chassis maintenance and repairs in greater Charlotte area.
Responsible for all operations of 14 service trucks in Charlotte and 4 in Atlanta.
Supervise all mechanics in the field, operational support staff as well as billing and personnel department.
Maintain customer relations, such as Steamship Lines as well as domestic trailer and intermodal companies..
Ensure that safety procedures are adhered and implemented as needed.

Responsible for vessel operations for loading/unloading of ocean shipping containers in liaison with Stevedores.
Work with US Customs and USDA on cargo clearance, supervise stevedoring operations, stripping/stuffing of containers, proper lashing of oversized commodities, weight distribution on flatbeds or in containers. Work with ship captains and US CoastGuard for compliance on vessel related issues. Work closely with all trucking companies transporting
MSC’s equipment. Work with NC State Port Officials on all operational matters
and terminal activities. Handle cargo claim matters.

Manage 8 mechanics at CSX Railroad for chassis and container repairs.
Prepare all mechanics work orders for correctness for proper billing to clients
