Description:

A leading fables semiconductor company, Marvell ships over one billion

chips a year. Marvell's expertise in microprocessor architecture and

digital signal processing drives multiple platforms including high volume

storage solutions, mobile and wireless, networking, consumer, and green

products. Marvell has two main divisions Data storage, Data com. Marvell is

currently doing its Booking, Backlog and Billing (BBB) in Excel using

information coming from Oracle ERP, Sql Server. The goal is to move away

from excel based reporting to a corporate-wide unified reporting platform

using ODI.

Role &Responsibilities:

. Analyzed the data from various source systems like flat files and

relational databases.

. Used ODI to effectively integrate heterogeneous data sources and

converting raw data into useful information.

. Developed various Data Marts using extracted information in the Data

Warehousing System.

Description: Rheem is an industry leader for total heating, cooling and

water heating solutions. In fact, Rheem is the only brand with product

offerings covering residential and commercial heating, cooling, solar water

heating systems, hedonic and geothermal systems, indoor air quality

accessories, and replacement parts for all categories - making Rheem a one-

stop Air and Water comfort solutions provider. The main aim of this project

is to integrate all its legacy systems data into DWH. In this process

initially we are migrating legacy data from DB2 to Oracle staging area as

per mapping rules using Oracle Data Integrator.

Responsibilities

. Worked closely with Business Analyst in understanding the Analytics

requirements and created the business model for generating reports as per

the user requirements.

. Used Oracle Data Integrator for Extraction, Loading and Transformation.

. Created data servers related to specific technologies and mapped with and

physical and logical architectures.

. Created various mappings from source to target using Topology and

Designer Navigator.

. Extensively used various knowledge modules such as Loading Knowledge

Module, Integration Knowledge Module and Journalizing Knowledge Module
