DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES:
. Safe and efficient plant operation under charge.
. Monitoring and recording plant parameters during normal operation and
also maintaining logs in the state of the art computerized
environment.
. Coordinating with central control room operator during plant start up,
shut down and emergency operation
. Starting, stopping and observing plant auxiliary equipments. If
required carrying minor maintenance.
. Initiating requests and raising work orders to maintenance section.
. Monitoring and coordinating all the maintenance activities.
. Acknowledging and analyzing all the alarms and taking corrective
actions as required.
. Making initial diagnostic checks to determine causes of equipment
malfunctioning and taking actions accordingly depends on its nature.
. Taking all safety measures under consideration during plant operation.
. Knowledge of safety rule & regulation as per our plant & site.
. Managing the functions of operation & maintenance of turbines, water
cooling system, etc.
. PTW system etc so as to reduce downtime to minimum. Implementing good
safety system, Lock out Tag out and Try out procedures and safety at
work place
