Romeo Program Quality Engineer: Tracking and analyzed data (90 day/post SAC)
for the Naval Hawks assigned as the “R” model. Established contacts in bases in
San Diego and several off site other location to act on concerns unique to the aircraft
on site. Served as Quality Supervision for ongoing Blackhawk work at L3
Technologies, which included multiple trips (off site, Crestview facility, Fla) to assist
in meeting aircraft production schedule.
Blackhawk/MH60R Program Quality Engineer: Assigned to the H-60 Blackhawk
Program:
Product Quality Deficiency Report (PQDR) Manager: Coordinated investigation of
complaints by the customer (primarily government), and SAS. Employed Root
Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA), to find solutions to satisfy the customer,
Determined root causes of S/A or field induced issues, and assigned responsibility
and liability. Coordinated source inspection at supplier facilities to assure supplier
quality standards/requirements were in compliance.
Worked closely with DCMA (Defense Contract Mgt Agency) in resolving
contractual issues in regards to warranty and investigation responsibility,
coordinating several stakeholders, departments, engineering, vendors
(suppliers) processes and S/A sponsored practices. Employment of ASQR
relevant to product support.
Coordinated effort with Material Review Board to salvage stock by repair
initiatives.
Implemented initiative which reduced investigation response time by 20

contractors including Sikorsky Aircraft, Pratt and Whitney, Bell, Boeing, Textron and
several additional aerospace customers. Certified Level ll MPI, FPI, PPT, CPP.
Assigned as a technician in X-ray and Nital Etch departments. Participated in
approximately 200 audits/surveys for prime contractors and Government audits.
Created ITP’s majority of qualified components.

Inspected major (dynamic) components including Main Rotor Head, Main Gear Box,
Servo Assemblies, and detail dimensional, as well as shipping, critical and MRB
disposition inspection. Served as ADR Manager for Product Integrity for corrective
action items, and as Quality Auditor, both internally and externally, for United
Technology interplant audit project.
