MedWise was a company that sold software to hospitals and other
medical professionals. Because of new government regulations
placed upon their primary product - Electronic Health Records
and patient information systems, MedWise found themselves in a
position of not being able to comply with new regulations. I was
recruited from GSM and given a long term consulting contract to
position the company for an eventual shutdown. It was projected
this shutdown would take place in 2-3 years but actually took 6
years. Because of my teams efforts MedWise closed in 2011with
revenues way ahead of expectations to the delight of the owners.
2002-2005 George S. Maye International
Chicago, IL
Consultant/Sales
George S. Maye is a business consulting firm specializing in
small and mid sized businesses. When GSM was retained by a
client I was sent to do a "business analysis" using proprietary
software of GSM. This involved inspection and evaluation of
real property. My findings were then sent to GSM for review and
recommendations were made. It was my job then to sell those
recommendations to the client. I worked with a wide range of
businesses including retail, service and manufacturing. I was
instrumental in the set up of the first 20 internet cafe (online
gambling) in NC. I also worked on regional and nationwide
company expansion projects. Most of these were franchised
companies. I was always part of the analysis team and most often
part of the implementation team from project start to finish.
Some projects lasted months at a time.

Mortgage, real estate, attorneys and appraisers were our main

to do continuous training to customers' staff and continuous

and Mortgage Trade organization and regularly attended and
manned booths at trade shows and related events.
