Contracts & Procurement Manager / Claims Manager
Twenty-five years of experience in the international oil and gas industry
performing Consulting, Contracts Management, Cost Engineering, construction
planning, constructability studies, managing Contracts and Procurement
Departments, Construction All Risks claims investigations, and hands on
purchasing and logistics activities for various LNG, Refinery, Arctic
Oilsands, Drilling and International Pipeline Projects. Effectively
negotiated EPCM contracts on a national level for Government agencies with
various foreign government ministries and multinational companies.
Accomplishments
? Establish, build and manage relationships with internal
customers (Engineering departments, internal support functions
(Legal/HR/Global & Group Procurement), global/local vendors

General Services Contracts for the EPCM Contractors and

? Manage projects and initiatives assigned by Corporate Officers
with direct responsibility of results through regular reporting
and coordination
? Drive initiatives and provide input for tools to enhance
efficiency of processes such as internal spend analysis,
procurement planning, contract management, tender execution and
vendor management.
? Overall responsibility for the planning and placement of
Purchase Orders/Supply Agreements and Engineering, Procurement
and Construction Management (EPCM) Contracts in accordance with
procedures.
? Review the analysis of frequently purchased items so as to
support finalisation of Framework Agreements and related inputs
from Operations - for overall Procurement Planning and
Contracting.
? Continuously monitor the overall performance of the Operations
Team so as to endure seamless execution to all customers and
save possible EPCM Contracts and Procurement lead time.
? Ensure that all the elements necessary to improve efficiency
and effectiveness of logistics and warehousing management are in
place; monitor security measures, oversight of timelines for
expediting and despatching, and rigourous management of stock
to reduce capital costs.
? Define the logistics budget based on experience and enhance the
performance to reflect the company's focus and strategy in
alignment with overall Business Unit Budgets.
? Define and maintains management systems, procurement policy &
strategy, procedures and practices for all activities in line
with Corporate guidelines

Contracts Manager for Kuwait Oil Company overseeing the
ITT process, vendor control and commercial and contracts

Million Man hours expended with no Lost Time Accidents.

of counter insurance claims and Construction All Risks claims
