I am responsible for overseeing the p.m. program and implementation of new processes

that will utilize equipment in an efficient manner to maximize productivity in a

production setting. Also responsible for training and ensuring that mechanics maintain the

I was responsible for overseeing the maintenance and quality department’s, from

employee’s to process improvement and budget reduction. I worked closely with the

general manager on putting capital improvements in place to increase productivity and

reduce budget issues. Held weekly maintenance calls for all the plants across the

nation to implement a p.m. program in place thru SAP to further reduce downtime and

labor for the company. My job duties included but not limited to;

Responsible for ensuring that both plants as well as all the equipment was

maintained in a quality manner that would reflect the company’s core values.

• Cut the maintenance budget by 20% by implementing a p.m. program as well

as updated equipment.

• Improved machine processes and efficiency by conducting quarterly audits

through a third party.

• Stopped all contract work for repairs to help reduce cost by conducting major

repairs in house to include training team members on how to repair critical

pieces of machinery that was valuable to the company.

• Reduced plant and equipment downtime by 35%

• Installed new machinery in house to include terminating the electrical panels.

• Redesigned both plants dip tanks from pumps to the plumbing to allow for

better circulation thus bringing down chemical use as well as reducing

emissions.

• Designed a cooling and heating system in house to keep the paint at 78 to 83

degrees to control viscosity and further reducing chemical usage and reducing

cost.
