PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

OneHub offers a ready to use messaging hub solution and service. OneHub

supports and enables Akzo Nobel's businesses to exchange information with

trading partners through e-connections. A "messaging hub" is used at the

core of an e-channel, which acts as an effective messaging switchboard, as

opposed to expensive individual point-to-point connections. The messaging

hub translates and routes messages securely between the partnering

applications

CLIENT DESCRIPTION:

Akzo Nobel is one of the world's leading industrial companies. Based in

Amsterdam, the Netherlands, they make and supply a huge range of paints,

coatings and specialty chemicals. In fact, they are one of the largest

global paints and coatings company. As a major producer of specialty

chemicals they supply industries worldwide with quality ingredients for

life's essentials.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES IN THE PROJECT:

Based on the innovations done in Support, clients asked Cognizant to

work on development projects. Involved in estimation, planning, design and

development along with training the team members on the tool. Worked on

live projects and directly interacted with the clients for testing and

moving the projects to live (production system).

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:

. OneHub Application- AkzoNobel along with Iway has developed an OneHub

Application.

. OneHub is a global e channel for all electronic business transactions

conducted by the business units of AkzoNobel with the Outside World.

. The current architecture of OneHub is a 5 channel architecture where

an incoming message passes through 5 channels before reaching its

destination system.

. Trading Partner Manager manages all the relationships between the

systems that exchange messages. The messages that flow through the

OneHub can be monitored using the iWay Activity Monitoring Tool.

CLIENT DESCRIPTION:

AkzoNobel is a global leader in manufacturing decorative paints and

varnishes and has the base in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Responsibilities:-

. Support and maintenance of the 26 managed servers using iWay Activity

Monitor.

. Level 1 and Level 2 Servers monitoring across two production machines.

. Understanding the process flows inside a channel along with the

transformation of messages/business documents based on the partners'

need.

. Monitoring the SysAid (Ticket Tracking tool) and handling the real

time scenarios.

. Monitoring the flow of messages/business documents across the

enterprise service bus in the 5 channel architecture process.

. Handling and resolving the incidents related to VMI application.

. Guiding the team members to resolve the issue according the respective

SLA's.

. Guiding the team in fixing the issues and migration work (from iWay5.5

to iWay6.xx versions).

details of the hospital calculate total bill and update it

accordingly. The System is designed using PL\SQL

. Medical Shop Management - C++

This system acts as a tool for

maintaining stock detail. It checks for the

products expiry date and helps in

returning back the products. It also checks the Re-Order Level

periodically and helps in purchasing the goods. After every

transaction updations are automatically reflected in the

results.
