Project Wind Italy is a business transformation program to implement a single
integrated operating model, consolidating the ERP packages from many Operating
Companies (OpCos) and key business functions of the Wind Italy Group into a single
instance global enterprise solution. This project is long term win for IBM.

Description :
BDR means "Base de Donnees de Reference". It was first implemented in January 1992. Since July
1999, It has been chosen as the worldwide referential for SGCIB. It is used to manage common and
general data (Third Party, Financial Instruments, Market Data, Environment Data, Calendars, Country
Code, Currency, Master Contracts, Analytical Structure.). The main functions of this application are
Registration, Stocking and Distribution of the reference data. Project BDR has 3 main domains i.e.
Security & Transversal, Analytical Structure and Third Party. I am presently working in Third Party
domain.
Responsibilities:
My role Includes extraction of Reports from the database table, Session creation in UNIX using the

tool EXCEED, Analysis of Functional specification & Implementation.
Creation of database objects i.e. Tables, Views, Procedure, Functions, Packages, Triggers, Cursors

etc., Enhancements & BUG Fixing.
Versioning for tables of our database and analyzing the impact created.

Description :
This is a project about Monitoring of unusual and suspicious transactions that happens when traders do
the trading for Hong Kong, Tokyo, London and Paris.
This application will detect all those transaction that are not in compliance with standards set, will be
detected and reported to the compliance officers who take cares for all those traders involve in those
transactions.
Control contains the business logic to generate exception in case of any unusual transaction.
When any transaction happens these controls take care that weather they are in compliance with the
market standards and if not, caught by those controls .
Responsibility:
Includes development of new controls(database packages that contains various functions and
procedure,cursors etc. for the bussiness).
Modification & Enhancement, Bug fixing, testing of those controls and than doing regression testing
afterwards.
