PROJECT #1
Project Name : Mobile - eMCS (Electronic
Mobile Care System)
Environment : Flex 4.6, Action Script, Spring, Hibernate,
Java and MySQL
Team size : 4
Role : Developer
Project Description
Electronic Mobile Care System (eMCS) enables healthcare providers to
efficiently manage patient care while on the move anytime and anywhere
with real - time access to patient clinical case notes viewing,
appointment slot reserve and cancellation functions, diagnosis,
medication information including vital symptoms, medical history, laboratory results and prescriptions, allergies, and other notes of
advices and observations.
Schedule &
Appointment Management on the move the care provider can conveniently
reserve slots for appointments schedule. Can close appointments and at
the same time block the particular time and day on the reserved slots.
Assessment and Reference on the Move. eMCS is an ideal solution for
continuity of care activity on the move. Having the ability to capture
and/ or view the essential elements required. Vitals: Both Data view and
Graphical view are provided. Specific predefined Period based data
filtration view is available. Laboratory Result: Both Data and Graphical
views. Orders: View Medication Orders along with Quantity,
Administration instructions and Duration. Summary: View Patient
Diagnosis Allergies and Medication as a Patient Summary Report. Reports:
View data recorded wrt CC, HPI, History, ROS, PE and Orders as Encounter
Report.
Special Assessment forms are
enabled through EMR template capability extension. Generic Forms:
Predefined repository based data capture capability. Dynamic Forms: Form
development with user defined templates for assessment. Scoring Forms:
Tools used to score and interpret the score. Image editor enables users
to annotate images and also mark the care provider findings on the
image. eMCS, while adding a new dimension to home care also caters to
stakeholder emergency needs by facilitating telephonic encounter when a
physical interaction with care receiver is not possible. It supports
care provider to select the patient and provides the patient's summary
view for a telephonic encounter.
Responsibilities:
. Create requirements based on technical discussions towards creating
the UI.
. Involved in developing UI Screens for different modules using Flex
and Action Script 3.0.
. Creating custom components such as Search Text Box and Date Chooser.
. Developed Graphical Representation of Vitals.
. Integrating with the backend (Java).
PROJECT #2
Project Name : Mobile - eMar (Electronic
Medical Administration Record)
Environment : Flex 4.6, Action Script, Hibernate, Spring,
Java and MySQL
Team size : 4
Role : Developer
Project Description
Mobile eMAR (Electronic Medication Administration Record) is designed to
provide real-time mobile access to nurses for administering medications.
Nurses can use the application on a ruggedized tablet device that also
provides hardware integration features such as barcode scanning and
Bluetooth connectivity.
Using the mobile device to scan employee, patient wrist-band and
medication barcodes, plus ensuring a double-checking mechanism with two
nurses for the administering of medication, the application will ensure
the 5 R's - Right Patient, Right Medication, Right Time, Right Dose and
Right Route - are followed.
The application will also provide real-time access to medication related
knowledge bases and drug interaction information. It will give nurses
the ability to view alerts and allergies, record vitals, view lab
results and record medication related incidents.
Patient
Identification, Provision for patient list view to select the patient.
Positive patient identification with barcode. Patient banner with MR
number and photograph. Medication Administration Work List - 6 views as
follows: Last 24hrs, Last 4hrs, Next lhr, Next 4hrs, Next 24hrs, Missed
Administrations. Medication Administration: Administer medication, Skip
medication, Therapeutic information for nurse reference, View Medication
Orders. Record Vitals, Patient notes and Incidents. View: Graphical view
of vitals, Graphical view of lab results, Patient alerts and allergies
and also Includes Internal Communication System
Responsibilities:
. Implementing Agile Methodology.
. Involved in developing UI Screens for different modules using Flex and
Action Script 3.0.
. Creating custom components for code reusability.
. Developing Charts and Graphs based on the requirement.
. Involved in issue tracing and resolving.
PROJECT #3
Project Name : Web - Electronic Medical Record
Environment : Flex 4.1, Action Script, Spring, Hibernate,
Java and MySQL
Team size : 12
Role : Developer
Project Description
An Electronic medical record is a computer-based patient medical record
that can be instantly accessed only by authorized health professionals,
reducing delays and improving care. Electronic Medical Record System
(EMR) is one of the important components in Hospital Information System
(HIS). Electronic medical records tend to be a part of a local stand-
alone health information system that allows storage, retrieval and
modification of records. Patients will be able to see that information
at their physician's office and know that only they and their caregiver
can see the full record. All information in the electronic medical
record system will move over a dedicated secure physicians' private
network to preserve patient privacy.
EMR provide patient medical history to other HIS
application such as pharmacy, billing, administration, and it can also
be used by healthcare professionals for research purposes. EMR has been
introduced to eliminate the weaknesses of paper-based medical record
such as loss of patient medical record, misplaced, scatted patient
medical record in various healthcare points and illegible writing in
medical record.
EMR provides Improve Quality Care, Avoid Adverse Drug Events, Improve
Quality Measures, Enhance Resident Safety, Improve Operational
Efficiencies and Reallocate Staff and Increase Reimbursements.
Responsibilities:
. Unscheduled Bill of Work and Unscheduled Task Card.
. Involved in developing UI Screens for different modules using Flex
and Action Script 3.0.
. Creating custom components such as Data grid single checkbox
renderer, code controller etc.
. Integrating with the backend (Java).
. Involved in issue tracing and resolving.
