Experienced Project EOSH Manager with over twenty years of environmental and safety experience. Projects and Programs managed ranged from $100k management and systems consulting projects to multi-year IDIQ contracts. Managed Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety management systems for Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) consulting and implementation group, provided ISO 9001/AS9100/ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 consulting and training, Quality and Environmental, Health & Safety Auditing, and conducted internal Quality Assurance activities. Onsite EOSH Manager for quality assurance support to the NATO Maintenance Supply Agency (NAMSA) deployed to Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan. Provided quality assurance and oversight of 18 international companies supplying infrastructure support (i.e. fuel, food, utilities, waste disposal, air field operations, emergency services and transportation) to over 30,000 NATO soldiers and civilians. Superior contract performance resulted in additional contract to establish a second support office in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Project manager for implementation of Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) at Navy facilities in Hawaii, Guam and Japan.
Lead program for first Army OCONUS implementation of Army’s Voluntary Protection Program (VPP) in Germany and Italy.
Led Concurrent Technologies Corporation’s successful ISO registrations. CTC is the first Research and Development DoD consulting company to concurrently register to both the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards in North America. Success was critical to CTC's qualifying for and winning the National Defense Center For Energy and Environment $250 million IDIQ contract that same year.
First Elected Chairperson of the ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems Advisory Committee to SRI Registrars, Wexford, PA. an ISO9001/ISO14001 registrar.
Original Member to the United States Technical Advisory Group (TAG) ISO 14001 which developed the original ISO 14001 international environmental management standard.

Providing full-time support to Manager of EOSH program and reporting Program Managers senior technical and advisory support on EOSH program including but not limited to all aspects of 29 CFR 1910 such as: Hazardous Materials (i.e. asbestos) Occupational health and Environmental Control (i.e. lockout/tagout, indoor air quality including mold) electrical safety (i.e. Flash Arc), Confined Space, Hearing Conservation, Hazardous Communication, Personal Protective Equipment, Fire Safety.
October 2005 to October 2011 – Project Manager for Department of Defense Voluntary Protection Programs Center of Excellence operated by Concurrent Technologies Corporation
As Project Manager established and developed the Department of Defense's VPP Center of Excellence (CX) a $25 million 24 person, five-year effort to change safety culture through implementation of OSHA's Voluntary Protection Programs. Managed and mentored a team of safety professionals and environmental engineers. Conducted annual reviews of assigned personnel including seasoned professionals as well as junior engineers. Establish staff annual goals and monitored quarterly performance reviews towards personal and team goals.
Developed, implemented and managed all policies, process and procedures in establishing and running the DoD's VPP CX. Developed original return on investment business case program reviews.
Established internal quality and EHS processes and procedures and conducted project quality and EHS assessments and audits.
Lead process improvement lean six sigma events; reducing costs each year of operations by 10% or more and increasing the number of sites served by over 300%.
Instructor at DoD implementation workshops and national VPP Conferences on various topics including internal auditing, management system principles, root cause analysis, and VPP, ISO 9001, 14001 and OSAS 18001 implementation.
DoD's VPP CX program supported over 350 defense installations and sites in the enhancement of the Department of Defense’s Military Services and Agencies Safety and Occupational health management systems worldwide.
During first five years, lost workdays and injuries during this period have declined nearly 40% returning six dollars for every one dollar invested in VPP.
The VPP CX program has received perfect performance evaluation scores for each of the last three years from the client, Office of the Secretary of Defense for Mission Readiness and Safety.
June 2007 to September 2007 – Temporary Deployment as Onsite Quality and EHS Project Manager NATO Maintenance Supply Agency (NAMSA) deployed to Kandahar Air Field, Afghanistan

Performed QA/QC contract assessments of contractors including airfield maintenance and control tower operations.
Conducted root cause analysis of contaminated fuel incident grounding all flights at Kandahar Air Field. Personal efforts lead to processes and procedures changes to eliminate reoccurrence of incidents in the future.

Served as the Quality Environmental, Health and Safety Manager during which time the company concurrently certified to both the ISO 9001 Quality Management standard (QMS) and ISO 14001 Environmental Management Standard (EMS).
Developed and implemented complete integrated ISO 9001/ISO 14001 (including safety) quality and environmental management programs that resulted in Concurrent Technologies Corporation’s successful ISO registrations.
