Experience Highlights
Principle Research Engineer
Assist in the development of new chemical structures, installation of new
Applied Materials Cvd tools including P&Id and Hazard Reviews. Class
1000 Clean room upkeep and safety awareness. Team lead on construction
and facilities implementation, operation, maintenance, Process control of
all DOEs on current tools. Process Engineer for the Chemical Waste
Disposal Equipment.
Senior Field Service Engineer
New tool installation and support of all MOCVD reactors sent to customer
sites. This includes all the hardware and software installation, PLC
programming. Member of the Field Service and Technical Support
Department. Answer incoming customer questions, and generate quotes for
parts and service. Travel to customer sites all over the world for new
installation, preventive maintenance and equipment failures to minimize
their downtime. Assist other engineers out in the field with questions
on parts, procedures or software related issues.
Maintenance Engineer
Worked in a Class 100 Clean room. On-call for production needs. Scheduled
and completed all maintenance required for Metal Thin film coating and
deposition tools and high temperature furnaces in Chemical Vapor
Deposition, including Perkin Elmer, MRC, and Novellus. Monitored SPC
charts for production. Trained Employees on operation and maintenance of
each tool. Chemical wet-etch of Indium Phosphide wafers. Replaced Quartz
and silicon Nitride tubes and re-qualed for production Replaced chemicals
and gas cylinders, disposing of chemical waste. Safety committee and
emergency response member.
Associate Epitaxial Engineer
Worked in a Class 100 clean room. Setup, calibration and qualification of
semiconductor fab equipment. Wrote process instructions for ISO9000.
