Project Description:

IMS is a major pharamaciticual client in US and UK. As part of support we

team (4 members) supporting all the servers of EMEA (Europe, Middle East

and Africa). European Database Infrastructure Services provides services

directly to the corporate campus. The database support team provides

support for SQL Server, ORACLE and Sybase databases. The database team is

responsible for the troubleshooting of database related issues.

Responsibilities

V SQL server Installation, Patch maintenance and upgradation.

V Database creation, database refreshes, alert monitoring, Backup

script creations maintenance of databases like (index creations,

maintenance plan creations)

V Monitoring and installing new instances for existing Cluster

environment.

V Done migration from SQL 2005 to SQL 2008/2008 R2.

V SSIS and SSAS administration.

V Backup & Recovery Solutions, Space Management, Performance Tuning

Client : Elephant Group, USA.
