profile at Flowserve is detailed below:
To visit major EPC contractors and consultants such as Technip, Samsung, GE, Punj lloyd,
EIL etc. and get the relevant information about their OEM orders for pumps, compressors etc.
for their ongoing projects and information about their upcoming projects.
Information about the decision makers for the mechanical seal scope at EPC contractors and
at the OEM.
Pursue the mechanical seal specifications with the project leader/ decision maker at the EPC
consultant.
Collect and process pump data-sheets for product recommendations with engineering
department.
Share relevant information maneuvered from the EPC supplier/ consultant with the Head-
office as well as other pertinent branch offices.
Preparation, review and quotation for mechanical seals and spares to various public and
private sector companies such as refineries, power plants, fertilizer plants etc.
Preparation of the tenders with correct technical specification and commercial guidelines.
Reply to the clarifications sought by the customers.
Carry out the techno-commercial negotiation with the customers against the offers.
Key-in the information and convert the PO in SAP-system.
Liaise with the inside sales team to ensure that the ordered material is delivered within
contractual agreement.
Ensure timely payment realization and follow up with customer, in cases of delayed payment.
Ensure best possible post-sales support. Coordinate /repair the mechanical site at customer
workshop, against request from customer.
Carry technical discussion with customer about modification or modernization of existing
sealing system in old or problematic pumps, to better the MTBF.
Discuss and convert retrofit, revamp or conversion jobs on priority.
