TruPosition LMU System Commissioning Engineer 08/10 - 03/11
• I would perform onsite integration and commissioning of TruPosition LMU
• I would help to isolation trouble on the E911 system.
• Drive tested LMU equipment to check GPS positioning.
• I tested LMU system to check for satellites connection and beacons.
• I would connect system to BTS for call processing.
• I would test LMU connection to the switch and then to the SMLC.
• Tested and isolated LMU T-1 issues.
• This position was 100% travel.
Ericsson GSM OM and UMTS Commissioning 02/10 – 08/10
• I would commission Ericsson 3106 and 3206 Outdoor/Indoor Cabinets.
• I also did GSM OM on the RBS and also would support the T1
• Built UMTS cabinets at my assigned sites.
• I would at times load script files to the UMTS cabinet.
• Changed out CDU’s and DTRU’s when found to be faulty.
• I Connected and tested the T1’s to the OVP when required.
• I would Verified that the Hard Lines and the T-1’s were connected to the UMTS cabinets.
• Connected and commissioned the LMU services to the cabinets
• I would also change out various UMTS components such as FU’s and RU as they were found to
faulty.
• I did the installation and configuration of the FX11 card in the UMTS system.
• Also involved in the addition of a 2nd carrier to an existing 3G network
