At present, I am a part-time merchandiser for two companies. One company
is J. R. Domos where I go once a month and replace old magazines with the
new ones sent to the store (Blane's Farm & Fleet). I take the old
magazines and give them to the store manager for proper disposal.
I have also just been hired by Driveline Retail Merchandising, Inc., to
work on displays in stores. This entails taking down the old display and
replacing it with a new display.
In September of 2011, I was hired back working in the Mail Room for Swiss
Colony. While there, I separated letters, worked the line as a loader and
I was also trained as a machine operator. I had to leave the job in July
of 2012 because my left foot was reallying hurting me after being on my
feet for 8 straight hours.
When I moved to Monroe, my first job was working at Piggy Wiggly Food
Store. I worked as the resupply person for the freezer section. I was
also trained as a cashier and I worked there for one month. I lefted this
position for a job at Swiss Colony, make more per hour and working more
workhours.
I worked as a line supplier at the Swiss Colony production plant and this
is a seasonal job. While working at Swiss Colony, I started out on the
assembly line but within a month I was promoted to a line supplier and
palletizer. My Supervisor there was Lydria Robinson. I started working at
Swiss Colony on September 4, 2010 and it ended on December 10, 2010.
I started working at Home Depot in Wauwatosa, WI as a cashier, six months
later I was promoted to Head Cashier. My supervisor was Karen Meyer,
Department Head (phone number 414-***-****). I was also trained as a
relief scheduler. After serving as a Head Cashier for 7 months, I was
promoted to a Cross Merchandise Associate and as such I had to know the
store, where to display items for sale. While in this position, I had to
use the store plan-o-grams to set up different sections of the store and I
served in that position for two years. In 2006 (for 12 weeks) I was
temporary assigned to another store to do inventory. After serving as a
Cross Merchandise Associate, I was promoted to the Pro/Contractors Desk.
Where working there I had to help customers orders item like a deck,
roofing/shingles and flooring. I served in this position for one year, and
then because of reduced work hours, I wrote for a Head Cashier position. I
have been a Head Cashier for this time for over one year. While a Head
Cashier, I had to cover the Special Services Desk, the Pro Desk and also I
covered the Tool Rental Department. I worked in Tool Rental for over a
year while also covering as Head Cashier. While in the Tool Rental
Department, I also had to set up a major reset in that department.
I was been a building manager for an eight-unit apartment building for over
five years. In this position I have had to replace garbage disposals,
light fixtures, install ceiling fans, replace toilets both the bowls and
tanks, I have replace bathroom sinks, change light bulbs in the light
fixtures and the exit lights, install smoke alarms, replace bathroom floor
around 2 different toilets, replacing the tub surround in a bathroom,
replace part of the wall also, and remove and install ceramic tiles. I
also had to do landscaping, cutting the grass and cutting down dear
branches from some of the bushes.
Before working at Home Depot, I worked for the U. S. Postal Service for 23
years. The last 10 years as a supervisor, and during the last five years,
as an Attendance Control Supervisor. As an Attendance Control Supervisor,
I collected data on employees and assembled discipline packages for the
Floor Supervisor to issue. As such, I had to keep the information
confidential from other employees that I had obtained from other employees.
I also did filing and had to have organizational skills to do this job. I
also did Time and Attendance reports, where I had to track an employee's
time and make appropriate reports, such as back pay or fill out forms to
take away time. The first five years as a supervisor, I supervised in
several units.
