Telecommunications Systems Technician with extensive experience in the repair, design, installation and

Professional Experience

Ground Data Systems Supervisor, AETE Cold Lake, 2008 – 2011

Synchronized operations and maintenance at several remote research locations with a staff of thirteen

personnel. The large variety of equipment included precision target tracking mounts and control, video

surveillance, radio systems and secure networks.

MACS Maintenance Supervisor, CFB Trenton, 2007 – 2008

Coordinated preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment in multiple locations across Canada.

This included High Frequency radio systems, microwave communication links, digital telephony systems

and data controller software.

• Overseen the installation of several new high power HF transmitters at the request of the

Edmonton personnel in order to keep the installation on schedule.

Projects Co-coordinator, CFB Trenton, 2006 – 2007

Designed and modified telecommunications infrastructures within an expanding operational base.

Performed contractor installation stage inspections to insure requirements were met. Worked in a joint

effort with other personnel in technical upgrades and modifications to accommodate the new C17 Globe

Master aircraft.

Training Maintenance Technical Controller, CFSCE Kingston, 2004 – 2006

Controlled all maintenance in the CF electronics school for all training aids and equipment. A staff of 15

personnel was employed in several locations throughout the campus including the successful installation

and accreditation of a 600 port Cat 6 network in a new building.
