1977 – started working at Jack-in-the-Box. 2-3 months later was training for
management. Worked for 2 years.
1979 – 1981 Supervisor for a women’s Christian Home in Indio, California.
Was secretary for a Church. Worked on a census survey for mental health, going
door to door.

Moved to Texas
1981 – 1985 - Worked for Levi Straus – Became lead person for my department.
1985 – 1989 – Lived in Santa Fe, New Mexico

April 1989 – Moved back to California
1989 to 1991 – Became receptionist for the executive suites, then became part of the
management team for the Hospitality House building
on the corner of Fred Waring and Monterey Avenue in Palm Desert.
At this point I did work for Cully and Ryan attorneys at law, Bob Blay attorney at law,
Wieder & Collins attorney at law, I answered phones for Nancy Noel attorney at law.
I did interpretation and typed reports for Bob Shamim attorney at law. Set up
appointments for depositions and typed reports from recorders and attorneys notes.
1991 – 1993 UCA Insurance - Laid-off
1993 – 1994 - Cared for ill mother. I helped the physical therapist every other day with
the exercise and instruction. Nourished my mother back to health from a
knee replacement operation.
1995 – 1997 - Dr. Willardsen – Dental office on Deep Canyon and Hwy 111 in
Cathedral City. Learned the front office. Scheduled appointments, called
patients for appointments, clarified insurances, quoted prices and
discounts.

During that time 1996-1997 I took a class thru R.O.P – Sports therapy.
I learned how to treat injured muscles, how to massage. We use to
practice on the Soccer team and other sports teams at Palm Springs High
School. I did my internship at Shelly Coopers Physical Therapist Office
in Bermuda Dunes, California. I received a certificate of completion.
2006, 2007 and 2008 – Home tutoring.
I Tutored two young boys, one during his 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade and the
other during his 5th, 6th and 7th grade.
The younger boy, we started with ABC and 123, he did not know
The English language. He is a U.S. citizen and had been living with his
Mother in Mexico.
We started from the bottom up, at the present time he is in the 9th
grade and is doing very well in school. The older boy in 12th grade in
Indio High School. The older boy has a learning disability. Not to sure
how he is doing, I lost track with him. I am very pleased with my work
with these two young boys.

I tutored after school in Mecca, Ca. In a low income project Monday thru
Thursday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 pm at $20.00 per hour. Tutored in the
Area of reading.
I play keyboard and guitar. I have taught both instruments at our church. Our keyboard
player in church is 16 years old. I taught her to play and has been playing in the church
since 2007.
