PROJECT #1:

Project Name : Retail and Finance Data Marts

Client : BUPA Health Group, LONDON

Description:

The EDW Applications satisfy the Retail and Finance reporting needs for

BUPA Health Group Management's Strategy & Planning, Marketing & Finance

divisions. The EDW is integrated with the Operational Data Store (ODS)

which receives the FETA, Condor and Sales CRM data feeds and subsequently

processes them. The EDW database is made up of staging tables (for

temporary processing of data), dimension tables and fact tables. The

dimension and fact tables are populated by a process known as the 'SDW

Build' that loads 'holdings' and 'transactions' data on a weekly and

monthly basis. This work-stream focuses specifically on the holdings data

in the EDW.

Responsibilities:

Project Name : High Availability EDW Support System

Description:

This project implemented with a methodology to load many

files into Oracle Data Integrator via an external table algorithm,

achieving faster file uploads to the database with parallel execution and

decreasing operational maintenance costs in the process. In this project

we customized Oracle Data Integrator to decrease data extraction time,

extracting tables through a database link without any limitations.

Responsibilities:

V Much Involved in Source System and Target System.

V Involved in creating the mapping between source and target using

oracle Data

Integrator.

V Developed parallel jobs with collection of all source stages, target

stages and processing stages like Aggregator, Transformer, look-up,

join etc.
