by delegating teams to assist with ground logistics and clearance into
Federal Law Enforcement Center reducing obstacles concerning access
control.
Orchestrated entire event detailing invitations, guest list including
VIP's, seating chart, caterers, menu, and the creation of programs agenda.
Helped facilitate the transfer of $76 million vessel to nation of the
Philippines extending the United States continuation of bilateral support
to strengthen transpacific relations.
Watch Supervisor, USCGC GALLATIN (WHEC-721)
Obtained USCG Basic and Advanced Damage Control Personal Qualification
Certification. Proficiently led with Engineer on Watch annual fire and
emergency drills with North Charleston Fire Department to complete renewal
for Memoradum of Understanding.
Diligently pursued and obtained Quartermaster Qualification allowing to
help navigate the ship, obtain accurate weather data, and effectively
communicate with the Engine Room.
Satisfactorily passed rigorous Inport Officer on Duty Exam among panel of
supervisors including ships captain. Entrusted as a direct representative
of captain, supervisor of 16 man watch station, and responsible for safety
of personnel, ship's routine, and cleanliness of ship.
Responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports of ships mandated
training on sexual harrassment, civil rights awareness, and operational
awareness.
Took on the Training Officer position for vessel with 150+ members on
board. Supported personnel by tracking and coordinating formal school
requirements. Conducted integrated ships drills according to regulations
and encouraged members for preperation in times of emergency or disaster.
Successfully helped ship to achieve notorious Battle E Ribbon for
completion of Tailored Shipboard Training Availability. Larger fleet ships
are challenged and tested in accordance with the services operational,
training, and maintenance guidance so that crews are proficient in
operating the ship in various threat environments. The program includes an
extensive equipment/policy/doctrine inspection, classroom lectures, and
dozens of drills which the Training Officer provides. Evolutions focus on
damage control, engineering and electronic casualty control, navigation,
and seamanship.
Liason to Chief Mate as Admininstrative Assistant. Accountable for
assisting Chief Mate, Logistics Chair, and Administation Chief in
overseeing ships business.
Managed a $6,000 budget, military grade classified space and materials, and
an Operations Chief and 9 Operations department members as vessels Combat
Information Center Officer.
Qualified Helo Control Officer with education on two different classed
ships. Skilled in situational awareness for landing bearings, touch and
go's, and amber, red, and green decks.
