QUALIFICATIONS:
Other than attending grad school at Colorado State University for a Master in Landscape
Architecture, working in the field part time at two different landscape architect firms, I still
find time to work as an independent contractor for several live music lightning and video
production companies to keep current on my music skills. In high school I received a $5,000
scholarship for college in architecture, but was not at the maturity and commitment to go to
school for it and succeed as a professional as I am now at 29.
In the past I have worked as a trek leader for Intrepid Travel taking foreigners on outdoor
oriented trips across America/Canada planning/driving/conducting for groups up to 13 by
myself. I also worked two fall seasons traveling for Warren Miller Entertainment as a
sponsor liaison/video tech. I have worked in the ski industry at a world renowned resort
teaching skiing and snow boarding, including classes for children with disabilities. In the
summer of 2008 I became a Colorado certified raft guide and worked for Blazing Adventures
in Aspen. As well, over the years I have had extensive experience in the restaurant and
construction industry to help aid me through college. All of these experiences have now
shown me that it is time to slow down and not be on the road constantly. Giving me the
chance to have a less chaotic and more stable life with the luxury of having observed so
many different places and things to only add to my creativity.
