Successfully executed all the RF field test cases on air interface with

customer.

Drive test using XCAL.

Multiple antenna technique and their test execution OL MIMO, CL MIMO and

parameter changes in eNodeB.

Coverage & performance test with speeds of 30-50kmh 20MHz with FTP using

UDP & TCP.

HHO success rate with OCNS and without OCNS, HHO optimization.

UL/DL peak throughput test using FTP Schedule and non schedule settings.

Throughput checking with loaded and unloaded conditions.

Throughput checking for DL and UL for various LTE-TD configurations - 0, 1

& 2 (Presently supported by Ericsson - Release L11B)

UMTS Design & Optimization Project

Project: Aircel (Maxis) - Tamilnadu market

Duration: AUG 2009 to Till Date

Detailed Report was provided for the projected traffic and coverage levels

for the towns planned by Maxis.

Using TEMS Cell Planner Coverage, Quality and Throughput plots are provided

to the customer.

Responsible for Pre/Post launch of Maxis UMTS Network - RoTN (954 Sites

IP/ATM).

Completed Cluster Optimization for one of the Major 3G - IP Network in

India.

Achieved Drop Call Rate under 0.5% CS services and 0.8% PS Services,

Achieved RLC Throughput around 17.1 Mbps for HSDPA (DL) Peak, Maintaining

Accessibility Rate > 99% (CS and PS Services).

Had Successfully Optimized CS IRAT HO & PS Cell Reselection from 3G-2G (CS

- 98% and PS - 92%).

Inter SGSN PS IRAT HO issues were identified using UETR Trace and Drive

logs. SGSN (Huawei) Issues were fixed with appropriate software patch.

Tuning HSPA related Parameters (16 QAM, 64 QAM, number HSPDSCH codes,

MaxHSrate, EUL License and features, to achieve higher throughputs

(Achieved 17.1 mbps Peak DSCH throughput and 15.5 mbps Average throughput)

Have used WNCS tool to fine tune the 3G-3G Neighbor list of the network and

maintained the HOSR at 99.8%.

Have wide working experience with OSS Tools, MOSHELL/AMOS commands on a Day-

To-Day Basis.

Performance and Traffic Reports using ENIQ-Server are monitored on a daily

basis for taking corrective action to maintain the KPI within limits. GPEH,

CTR Traces are collected and analyzed to Identify and Isolate network

related Issues and Improve KPI.

New software upgrades for the nodes (like MPBN, R4D) are checked for their

performance in a testing site and then planned and given by me for a major

roll out across the network.

Training and mentoring of Junior Engineers, Contract Employees and client's

personnel are done to obtain better productivity and first time right for

the activities.

UMTS Optimization (International Project)

Initial Optimization for Airtel 3G P4 network in Seychelles - Victoria

Town. Faced challenges on IRAT Optimization for Voice and R99 PS data.

Have to submit the report the customer after successful Optimization of the

3G network.

Successfully Completed Cluster Tuning and RF Acceptance activities for the

agreed parameters with the customer. (DCR < 1 % for CS services and < 2%

for PS services, CSSR > 98%).

Have obtained Peak RLC Throughput of 320 mbps with PS - R99.

UE - traces were collected in the RNC using MOSHELL/AMOS commands only and

it is parsed to identify Various Issues, related to IRAT, Handoff and

Throughputs.

UMTS RF Dimensioning & Design

Actively participated in 3G RFP preparation for BSNL Mega Tender for south

circles Viz. Tamilnadu, Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. This includes 3

Metros - Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad - (JAN-2006 to JUL-2006)

Vodafone 3G RFP for four metros - Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Chennai.

GSM Design and Optimization:

Project: Aircel (Maxis) - Tamilnadu - Duration: OCT-2007 to Till Date

Responsible for Design and Optimization activities, for the GSM 900 / 1800

network.

Identifying Offloading site location using MRR and Projected Traffic Data.

630 - GSM 900 & 1800 sites across Tamilnadu were Planned, Designed and

surveyed within 6 weeks.

Completed Ph-8 Planning for 1390 Sites in RoTN - Duration 10 weeks.

Completed Ph-9 Planning for 2050 Sites, to meet Coverage and Capacity for

Aircel RoTN.

Presently working on Ph-10 Planning, for Aircel RoTN.

Mutually agreed optimization activities for all the major towns in

Tamilnadu done once in 3 months and AT obtained for the same.

Processing RNO reports like MRR - Sector Overshoot analysis, NCS - Neighbor

Optimization and FAS - Frequency Optimization, to improve the network KPI.

We have a Macro developed In-house to process these logs offline as well.

Responsible to implementation of Ericsson features like RF hopping, half

rate, Dynamic SDCCH, and AMR.

Providing Rx-level plots, SQI plots and Sector Overshoot plots thorough

drive test post processing and analyzing related Issue and resolving the

same.

RF parameters are obtained using MML commands and discrepancy checks are

performed regularly using In-house Macro Tools.

GSM Coverage and SQI Benchmarking Drive were done and analysis Report

submitted to Aircel for 5 Major Towns in RoTN, with problem resolving

solutions.

Implemented AFP using the Tool Optimi for 5 Major Towns in Tamilnadu and

achieved 30% improvement in the overall KPI for SD and TCH Drop.

Project: Aircel (Maxis) - Tamilnadu - Duration: JUN-2000 to AUG-2001

Implemented Hopping and Fixed combined plan for all the major towns in the

circle.

Analysed Drive Data and Performance Monitoring of Nokia GSM systems.

Actively involved in Frequency Planning and Hopping Planning for a

Congestion free network.

Analysing Customer Complaints and giving suitable solution by adding a new

site and removing congestion, frequency and neighbour Optimization.

Analyse the Daily RF Report from OMC and optimise the TRX usage in the

CDMA 2000 RF Design & Optimization:

Responsible for Initial Tuning for all the new sites in Tata Karnataka.

Had Optimised various power control, Neighbour list tuning, Handoff and

related parameters using OMC reports and maintained overall network KPI

within limits DCR < 0.5%, Handoff success rate 99% and CSR rate at 98%.

Independently planning and managing CDMA 2000 network for Tata

Teleservices.

A key person for Optimization of CDMA 2000 Network in Karnataka.

New features testing like Improved IFHO (Inter Frequency Handoff) and

release testing of the BSC and RBS.

Had implemented 2 CDMA BTS in Same location to ease out congestion in

Bangalore Tata Network.

Had demonstrated coverage extension using TMA for the remote or single site

towns.

Had optimised and assisted the PTT (Push to Talk) project for Tata CDMA

network.

Had worked extensively for getting Reverse FER plots (It is not obtained

available during the drive testing. The logs must be collected in the BSC

and parsing had to done and then we need to get the plots).

Optimization of the Inter Frequency Handoff from Second carrier to First

carrier using RTD (Round Trip Delay).

Had implemented and tested Hard Handoff feature using GSRDM (Global Service

Redirection Message).

Providing sufficient Logs and Justification to the PDU team for further

analysis of packet data counter pegging wrongly. Later it was fixed by the

PDU with software Patch.

CDMA 2000 Initial Tuning Project - Vietnam

HCMC P&T - Vietnam - Duration: OCT 2005 - DEC 2005

Initial Optimization of Ho Chi Minch City Ericsson CDMA 2000RTT network and

tune various parameter values for improving the network performance. It had

totally 25 CDMA 2000 sites in and around city.

Responsible for planning and executing, the requirements within the time

schedule.

Customer was very much satisfied with the output of the process.

Had provided remote support and clarification for any customer doubts.

CDMA 2000 RF Planning and Optimization

- Organisation: Tata Teleservices Ltd. Duration: AUG 2001 - OCT 2004

Had completed RF Design for the major towns in Tamilnadu with 150 CDMA 2000

Sites.

Had carried out Survey activities for 150 sites in North Chennai and

Tamilnadu.

Had done the Complete Spectrum clearance for the additional frequency

received for Tata (CH - 185) for a town named Tiruppur and Identified a

spurious transmission in the Tata Band by a Govt. Operator and submitted

sufficient logs and documents to get it rectified.

Developed scripts for performance management of Ericsson CDMA System,

optimizing & expansion planning for CDMA 2000 Tamilnadu & Chennai

CDMA optimization of Voice and Packet data, forecasting of traffic growth

for network expansion.

Analyzed drive test data using ACTIX/TEMS Desk Cat to solve problem in the
