I started in a position as a high speed compressor mechanic in a

petrochemical processing plant. Duties included installation, startup, and

maintenance of high speed chemical compressors.

I was moved to assist engineering in the design of both new construction

and upgrades in a petrochemical industry environment. Required field

measurements, inventory of existing and new design criteria, basic

engineering for feasibility, calculations and preliminary drawings for

study by engineering staff for final designs of MEP. Position included

estimating project costs and feasibility.
