Student Intern
. Administered therapy to students ages four to seventeen with cerebral
palsy. Treatment included articulation, language, dysphagia
management, and sensory integration therapy. Therapy also utilized AAC
devices to help facilitate communication. Along with providing
therapies my responsibilities included assessment/evaluation, and
clinical writing; lesson plans, progress notes, and IEP's.

. Administered therapy to traumatic brain injury or spinal cord injury
patients (adults). Treatment included articulation, voice, language,
fluency, dysphagia management, cognitive-communication tasks,
cognitive-linguistic tasks, and divergent thinking task therapies.
Therapy also utilized AAC devices to help facilitate communication.
Along with providing therapies my responsibilities included
assessment/evaluation, and clinical writing; progress notes, clinical
summaries, and evaluation reports.

. Responsibilities included: Providing 45-minute therapy sessions for
patients with expressive language disorders, language delay,
articulation disorders, aphasia, apraxia, and other speech-language
disorders: accent modification, and cluttering. Evaluate clients by
writing treatment plans, lesson plans, progress notes, and semester
summaries. Lesson plans include increasing vocabulary and MLU through
child-centered therapy and clinician-directed therapy approaches.
