As an employee of VDOT, I handled daily time sheets and requisitions for all of Franklin
County as well as maintained all employee leave. Guardrail Estimator, Contracted Repairs,
and Supervised repairs made by all hired contractors. Survey potential commercial entrance
and make the decision based on VDOT regulations whether to approve or deny the permit.
Transportation Operator 1999-2000
Equipment operation, preventive maintenance and manual labor for the Glade Hill, and
Burnt Chimney Area Headquarters. Equipment operation includes backhoe, dump truck,
loader, motorgrader, tractor/bush hog and similar equipment. Flag traffic, set up work zones
and traffic control, cut brush, clean ditches/debris and patch potholes. Perform emergency
roadway operations during snow/severe weather events and other emergency events.
