Venipuncture: Safely performing venipuncture per standard guidelines.

Immunohematology: Donor blood processing, typing, compatibility testing, antibody screening and identification.

Hematology: Microscopic analysis of blood smears and urine sediment, operation of Beckman Coulter LH 750 Analyzer, Beckman Coulter ACL

Microbiology: Specimen processing and culture set-up, microscopic analysis of Gram stains, plate reading, viral cultures, operation of Siemens Microscan Walkaway 96 Plus, Cepheid Gene Expert GX-XVI.

Clinical Biochemistry and Immunology: Specimens processing and performing carbohydrate metabolic panel, lipid panel, liver enzyme panel, cardiac markers and other tests in Siemens A1800 and Centaur XP-1; operating blood gases with Siemens Rapid Lab 1265 and other electrophoresis, allergic, histocompatible tests.
