Responsible for crafting news stories tied to current trends then convincing media to cover these news stories and servicing the
media to ensure they have all they need. Total Experience in Pharmaceutical PR: 8.5 years
Migranal: Booked national TV and Print interviews for Super Bowl XXXII MVP, Terrell Davis, a lifetime migraine sufferer who
left the game, was treated by team doctor with Migranal then came back to h elp the Denver Broncos win the Super Bowl.
Worked on subsequent events and meet and greets with migraine sufferers. Required to explain the drug make up, half-life
and overall workings within the body in layman’s terms for media to easily understand. Managed spokesperson, wrote key
messages for media interviews and sales support.
Nicorette/Nicoderm and The Great American Smokeout: Publicized smoking cessation with an appointed “Celebrity
Quitter.” Arranged all media interviews, drafted press materials and was brand / doctor liaison.
Avon Anew: Part of the publicity team who launched what has become Avon’s best selling moisturizer. Responsible for
communicating brand ingredients, clinical data/research to media, planning media event at Avon Centre Salon and Spa then
located in NYC.
Ambien: Managed all publicity with the goal of taking the name mainstream. Established relationships with leading sleep
specialists around the country, provided key messages, potential questions and media trained them for interviews, booked
interviews.

Cardizem LA: Managed seasonal publicity campaigns tied to hypertension, stress and heart health. Developed relationships
with leading cardiologists who served as spokespersons.
Hyalgan: Identified people who experienced tremendous success with Hyalgan, a drug used to treat knee joints to prolong
the need for total knee replacement. Booked local “Hyalgan Heros” on local news, wrote compelling pitches to news
producers explaining the drug attributes and newsworthiness of the story.
Zovirax: Produced a Video News Release on “Healthy Holiday Kissing” which included script development, video
production, identifying and securing an infectious disease specialist. The video news package aired on over 120 news
outlets nationwide and resulted in over 3 million impressions. Project success ena bled client to grant AOR status to agency
on what was supposed to be a “one-off project.”
Dannon Activia: Launched the brand. Efforts included understanding digestion process and probiotics. Media trained and
booked interviews for medical who offered scientific validity of the brand. Oversaw all media activity and consumer event
at Grand Central Terminal in NYC.
Implanon: Led team of publicists, announced and secured national media coverage announcing FDA approval of first
implantable contraception since Norplant.
Tamiflu: Worked on a national flu prevention/awareness campaign that promoted a toll free flu hotline. Worked with
infectious disease specialists and prepared them for media interviews.
Colgate/Palmolive: Led a media team and launched the Colgate Wisp. Produced a Colgate Wisp media event for under
$5,000 resulting in placements in over 40-high circulation magazines and The Today Show.
Fraxel/Thermage: Conducted a media event and media outreach touting the benefits of fractional CO2 lasers.

Proposal Mandarin Oriental Miami. Role: Logistical Manager, Vendor Research, Event Coordinator . Oversaw all aspects of
store opening event for luxury jeweler David Yurman. Set up dining room décor and seating for Ocean Drive’s Luncheon
with Swarovski. Worked with vendors, caterers and provided direction when necessary.
Jif’s “Most Creative Peanut Butter Sandwich Contest” : Managed Publicity outreach by sharing recipes on top food and
mommy blogs. Secured coverage in top New York City and national media including, The Today Show, Associated Press,
