I have been working on Lotus Notes since 2.5 years. I have mostly been

involved in debugging and troubleshooting on Production issues for Client

and Web applications. Mean-time, I have developed/have been developing

various applications, in Lotus Notes, such as Leave Application, Social

Networking Site etc as part of Self-Learning.

1. Migration of Lotus Notes database to MAGIC Application

Client: GE Healthcare

Description:-

Lotus Notes application PARC was migrated from Lotus Notes to MAGIC.

Environment:-

Roles: -

. Interact with clients to understand the requirements and assist on

migration to resolve technical and functional issues.

. Played a key role in migration of an application named PARC from Lotus

Notes to MAGIC Application.

Value Adds:-

. Suggested presentation (formatting) of the metadata which the clients

welcomed and appreciated it as it eased ones readability and

understandability.

. Written Automated scripts related to metadata which can be used, with

little modification, on all Lotus Notes applications for future

Migration purposes.

QAA is used in quality department for documentation of customer queries,

action taken etc for all units within Life Sciences.

Production issues will be logged in SDM (Ticketing Tool from CA) by the

end users, which are taken care by our team abiding the SLAs defined by the

client. The category of support is L3.

Description:-

Semi-Join Association Mining Across Private Databases is a Data Mining

Research-based project.

For a given dataset, frequent-itemsets are generated. These frequent-

itemsets are used to prune the dataset and generate a report.

Vehicles are prone to accidents. The reason may be due to failure of Engine

or wearing off of the Tyre. An Engine company and a Tyre company are

blaming each other for the accidents that have been occurring. Main aim is

to resolve the issue between the two companies in finding the cause for the

accident.

Our application is used to find the cause for the accident based on the

information available in the dataset. An algorithm similar to Apriori is

used to prune the dataset. Data Mining Technique such as Association Mining

and Semi-Join Operation is used to obtain the required information from the

dataset.

In the end, a report is generated and given to both companies who will

know the exact cause for the accident. The report conveys "Cause for the

accident is due to the defective Engine/ defective Tyre which has been

deployed in the vehicle"
