Summary of Experience

Over thirty years of experience as an Electrician, and over twenty years as

a Master Electrician and ten years as a Power Engineer, my experience

includes managing projects, training and demonstrating technical knowledge,

plan, install, maintain, repair, and oversee electrical wiring projects in

petro-chemical, commercial and industrial environments; as well as

estimating, work scheduling, ordering large equipment and parts. I also

have an abundance of experience at budgeting, staffing, providing

leadership, organizational structure, and policy and procedures

development. My recent experiences include engineering, inspecting and

coordinating Government contracts awarded to local and foreign contractors.

In addition, I also specialize in analyzing malfunctions and recommendation

repair procedures necessary to correct defective equipment.

I am an experienced in managing industrial projects for governmental

facilities and I have developed a personal passion for new technology

development. I am very proficient in problem solving with the ability to

research situation(s) and find alternatives. Having a methodical mind, I

I am also expert in maintaining electrical assessments on military camps

such as the size of power grids, size of generators and wires that are

maximum of over 3,000 workers at one time.

Senior Principal Power Engineer 2008- 2012

General Dynamics

Project Manager & Decision Maker for multi-million dollar communications

facilities for the entire Southwest Asia Theater. Currently responsible

for projects, facilities & infrastructure in five countries to include over

30 sites totaling over $600 million in assets. Primary activities include

the preparation & management of contracts & construction at all levels to

include developing construction plans, specifications, statements of work,

estimates, schedules for various types of facilities and civil engineering

infrastructure. Additional duty for contract management to include

planning, coordinating and managing the work of consultants, general

contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers and technicians. Supervise

the implementation of various power grids for communication satellite

systems and technical control facilities. Responsible for assigning a power

coordinator to each site and insuring each site has a specific SOP to

include grounding, one line diagrams and generator maintenance. Conduct

several onsite visits on a monthly basis to insure the Quality Control of

each site is being accomplished by the power coordinators.

Electrical Technical Professional

Kellogg Brown &Root - LogCap III - 2004 - 2008

Responsible for managing the quality and cost of new construction as well

as on-going projects in Afghanistan and Uzbekistan. Construction Manager

for the building of base camps to include power grids and prime power.

This included the forecasting of all costs and expenditures for the

forthcoming physical year as well as direct responsibility for overseeing

the planning and construction of all new installations. Personally started

the CJOA projects with 2 personnel that grew to the management of over

3,000 personnel at over 130 different sites with multi-million dollar

budgets. Started the initial ETT program in conjunction with the ANA.

Personally planned and implemented the design, construction and maintenance

for over 7 camps in very remote locations to include securing logistical

material.

Electrical Supervisor

Kellogg Brown &Root - Chad, Africa - 2002 - 2004

Electrical Supervisor for the Gas Compressor and desalination Unit project

with the responsibility for the safety and training for a local national

work force of over 2,500 personnel involved in construction of all

petroleum units necessary to pump oil from Chad to Cameroon. This was a

distance of over 3,800 miles and involved the management of numerous

smaller but vital projects to insure the overall success of the project.

Electrical Supervisor

Brown & Root Services - Bosnia & Herzegovina - 1996 - 2002

Electrical Supervisor for military camps in Bosnia with responsibility for

all engineering aspects to include design, cost estimating and

constructions documents (Auto-Cad drawings). These projects included the

construction of High Voltage Substation & Power grids for the entire

country. Supervised over 30 local nationals and 4 engineers to include

primary and ongoing training/education.

Site Electrical Supervisor

Brown & Root Services - Mogadishu, Somalia - 1993 - 1994

Responsible for all electrical construction and maintenance at the new

seaport facility constructed in Mogadishu. Tasked with and completed the

provisioning of vital services to over 10,000 troops stationed in Somalia.

Managed over 280 local nationals.

Brown & Root Industrial Services - 1975 - 1995

I.T.I. Goodyear - LaPorte, Texas - August 1995 - December 1996

Electrical and Instrumentation General Foreman responsible for re-building

Electrical and Instrument systems after an explosion and fire at the plant.

Managed (6) 12-14 man crews

Shell Oil - Deer Park, Texas - March 1995 - August 1995

Electrical Technician that provided specialized electrical support to the

Maintenance Services Group at the site. Worked as an individual consultant

to senior management.

Ethyl Refinery - Pasadena, Texas - June 1987 - October 1993

Electrical and Instrumentation General Foreman that was responsible for

overall supervision and coordination of plant Electricians and

Instrumentation personnel on capital improvement projects and maintenance

projects for a 100 man jobsite.

Lubri-Pac - Galena Park, Texas - May 1985 - June 1987

Electrical Foreman that began this project as a 'green field' site. Brought

in high voltage power lines, built sub-station to include designing and

creating all temporary power distribution as well as the construction of a

new oil cannery facility. Responsible for 20 Electricians and their

helpers.

Exxon U.S.A., Baker Road Office - Baytown, Texas - August 1975 - May 1985

Working as both Electrical Foreman and Electrician was responsible for

bidding numerous jobs. Upon bid acceptance, crews were assembled and

managed to build projects ranging from control rooms to waste management

plants. These projects included over 10 Americans and 20 foreign

nationals.

Family owned business. Bid and worked on projects for the city of Deer

Park, performed commercial and residential work, and bid and performed work

on the Federal Building, Houston, Texas in 1991 to bring the building up to

N.E.C. requirements. The Federal Building project required an FBI security

clearance.
