* Review previous day`s reports (time and labor, pieces per hour, stops per on-road hour, misroutes, etc.) to determine performance weaknesses/failures and implement process improvements.
* Uncover time card errors by examining time and labor reports.
* Check trailer forecasting system to estimate expected shipment volume and schedule proper staffing levels in accordance with the Master Operating Plan. Meet with employees to inform them of daily workflow requirements. Rotate employees to other departments as needed.
* Complete preload operations performance report.
* Perform method evaluations on loaders once a month to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
