Chief, Force Protection Division, Headquarters United States Central Command, MacDill AFB FL 2011-

Responsible for plans policy and resourcing for force protection, critical Infrastructure protection, biometrics, non-lethal weapons employment, chemical/biological defense, and air base defense for 23 countries in the Middle East. Evaluates and validates manpower requirements as well as counter-IED, biometrics and forensics, and electronic security/surveillance enablers supporting combat operations, maritime interdiction, and antiterrorism. Leads force protection crisis action planning in concert with Department of State, coalition forces, and interagency partners.

Commander 455 Expeditionary Mission Support Group, Bagram Airfield Afghanistan 2010-2011

Led over 1,000 personnel to protect Bagram Airfield, perform emergency management, and direct air cargo and passenger transportation operations, and maintain airfield systems to enable conventional and special operations combat missions. Created antiterrorism and air base defense plans that integrated coalition force, contract security, US Army, and USAF security forces into formidable team. Responded to over 50 enemy attacks, led recovery of fighter aircraft that crashed on the airfield, and destruction of 500 pound bomb that threatened public safety. Employed detection/surveillance systems. Led award winning Aerial Port and Security Forces Squadrons to record setting air logistics and ground combat excellence.

Chief Antiterrorism Operations, Headquarters Africa Command, Stuttgart Germany 2008-2010

Responsible for plans policy and resourcing for force protection, detainee operations, biometrics, and non-lethal weapons in Africa. Developed policy programs and procedures for crisis response and evaluating and mitigating threats to personnel conducting theater engagement activities and counter terrorism in 53 African nations. Helped command gain full operational capability. Led FP planning for humanitarian assistance missions and support to counter piracy operations.

Authored strategic base defense and antiterrorism plans as well as combined defense plans for seven air bases in South Korea. Command antiterrorism officer, critical infrastructure protection program manager. Directed air base defense during 10 combined US-Republic of Korea exercise.

Commanded 300-person squadron. Wrote combined defense plan with 2nd ROK Army. Exercised plan w/Korean SOF. Led law enforcement response and riot control teams for 1,000 person protests. Led loss prevention/anti black marketing operations for commercial facilities.
