Multi- building $360M project consisting of a 500 room luxury hotel, 300,000 SF casino and conference center along with a remote central plant. Site development includes 65 acres of on grade parking, pools, spas & water features, extensive hardscaping/landscaping and two 3-story parking garages.

Key Achievements:

Quickly reestablished positive working relationships with the Owner and A/E in just 3 months

Developed and administered a value engineering program that resulted in $60M+ of project savings in 7 months

Formulated an Excel spreadsheet for staff and general conditions projections/cost tracking that resulted in more reliable budget adherence

Chaired a committee of all adjacent, concerned parties to mitigate all potential safety issues in building a major high rise in an active urban setting which resulted in no significant injuries or property damage

Fostered a positive, cooperative relationship with the city building department

Identified and implemented a web-based, hand-held device program for on-site preparation and management of the extensive punchlist process

Led a $300,000 value engineering effort to attain budget and allow the project to proceed
