Manage all aspects of corporate travel including air, car, hotel, train, program perks, points and

relationships. Act as internal liaison to all external travel suppliers and partners with an eye on

reducing overall travel related costs through performance management and contract negotiations.

• Responsible for delivery of Corporate Travel Services to those that travel on behalf of

AMN Healthcare and internal users for the online travel booking tool.

• Partner with internal customers, identify partners/suppliers, lead any supplier selection

processes from negotiations through the contract process.

• Develop and prepare performance metric and benchmarking reports.

• Identify technology enhancements that will meet the needs of internal and external

customers.

• Work closely with key stakeholders through the implementation process with Travel

Management Company and identify best practices for each division.

AMYLIN PHARMACEUTICALS, SAN DIEGO, CA 2002– 2010

Manage activities related to procurement and management of travel services including sourcing,

supplier and program management of Travel Management Company partner and other vendors.

• Manage selection process and company-wide rollout of online booking tool (including

training, updates and increasing adoption levels).

• Frequent travel policy review/updates in collaboration with the Finance department,

including update to approved international class of service with presentation to senior

management.

• Monitor published and computer sources to analyze and evaluate commercial rates, lowest

logical airfares, times and routings. Track and audit travel activities, expenses and payments.

performance against similar size travel functions. Manage supplier performance using

volume in this office is $2 million. Responsible for handling all aspects of travel including, but

not limited to-air, hotel and ground transportation arrangements, group travel, profile updates,

problem solving with vendors and accounting paperwork.

• Work closely with CEO’s assistant to coordinate all details of his travel, along with several

other VIPs from this account.

• Responsible for analyzing and selecting hotels for meeting ranging in size from 10-200

attendees.
