Established program to provide editing services and English instruction
to non-native speakers. Design and teach group and individual lessons,
specializing in teaching graduate students and professionals.
2007 present MICHIGAN STATE UNIVERSITY, East Lansing, Michigan
Instructor: VIPP Program
Teach courses in Conversational English, Writing, and Idioms
to mid-level international professionals who are Fellows in the VIPP
(Visiting International Professionals Program). Design course curricula
and develop original lesson plans.

Employed in the English Language Center s ESL Writing Lab. Worked,
on an individual basis, with international undergraduate students
and doctoral candidates to improve academic papers and journal articles,
respectively.

Rated SPEAK tests for prospective MSU Teaching Assistants.
Successfully completed SPEAK training and participated in ongoing
norming sessions.
Conversation Class Instructor (Spring 2006 and Spring 2007)
Student Instructor (through TESOL program practicum) for conversation
class of adult ESL learners of diverse backgrounds. Taught beginning
and intermediate level conversation classes.
2005-2008 Tutor (Self-employed) East Lansing, Michigan
Worked as private tutor for international students, ranging from high
school students to graduate students and adult professionals. Tutoring
focused on writing and speaking, depending on the needs of
individual students.

Staff Attorney. Designed, carried out, and authored final report of a study of
professional guardianship practices in three states. Conducted program
evaluation of the Utah Office of Public Guardianship.

amendment, anti-trust and labor law. Counseled administrators at a
psychiatric hospital and represented the hospital in court proceedings.
