1998 - 2013 More Space Place, FL. - Corporate office and manufacturing plant for Murphy hideaway beds, offices, closets, entertainment centers, etc. This company is presently supplying 40 open franchises. This company started out as just an office with 11 franchises. I was hired on to help convert it into a manufacturing facility and structure/set up all the areas mentioned below. I was second senior in this company.

Customer Service Manager- 1998-2002 - Setup and ran the Customer Service dept for the corporate office.

Inventory Control Manager - Responsible for all manufacturing supplies, to include, but not limited to, wood, laminate, melamine, trimming, hardware and packaging supplies. Doing the month end and year-end balances to be coordinated with the accounting department, all phases of the audit and working with the auditors.

Purchasing Manager - Responsibilities blend in with the inventory control. Negotiating best prices with both old and new (potential) vendors for cost control and quality products. Responsible for all phases of MRP and inventory turns.

Warehouse Manager/Distribution Manager/Office Manager - Responsibilities include all billing duties for the distribution center, coordination between Corporate Headquarters, billing/accounting department, customers and suppliers. Responsible and coordinated all load management and routing of delivery trucks, scheduling the shipping of orders to various customers nationwide. Scheduling and receiving of all incoming materials, scheduling drivers, inventory control/turnover, product control/organization in warehouse. Coordinated for necessary supplies for customers with corporate headquarters and suppliers. Customer service - troubleshooting/ problem solving, improvement and implementation of company software. Familiar with various computer systems and related software. Creating and implementing cost saving methods.
