Vice President / General Manager

Full P&L responsibilities for Dash In operations. Member of Board of Directors. Direct reports include Merchandise / Marketing Manager, Training & Development Manager, Franchise Manager and 6 Retail Area Managers. Dash In has just finished another record year for Sales and Profits. Dash In FY12 trending up 8% in merchandise same store sales.

Brand Development. Reinvigorated Dash In brand by through consistency in packaging, signage and logo design. Resulted in modernization of chain, market competitiveness, financial stability and process efficiency.

Facilities Design. Increased sales by 20% through redesign of 60 stores to provide sales-focused footprint.

Strategic Financial Modeling. Doubled and tripled ROI through development of strategic plan that set stretch goals using Economic Value Added (EVA) financial model.

Revenue Generation. Grew and sustained average sales increases of 7-8% YOY through marketing promotions, focus on cleanliness standards and customer service excellence.

Franchise Development. Created two franchise agreements: 1) Revenue Share Agreement; and 2) Sales Royalty Agreement which led to greater profits through minimization of risk and overhead costs.

Team Building. Improved retention of all levels of management and staff through team building, rewards and recognitions and internal staff promotions which led to increased profits and franchisee loyalty.

Logistics Management. Renegotiated agreements with suppliers and wholesalers to receive same pricing structure as agreements with Fortune 500 convenience store.

Managed full-scale operations for two locations: Virginia / Southern Maryland Franchise Market (68 Franchise stores) and Baltimore City (90 Franchise stores.)

Division Logistics Manager / Division Food Service Manager

Developed, organized and opened Combined Distribution Centers which provided fresh food to 965 stores in 9 states - represented both the Mid-Atlantic & North East Division.

Combined Distribution Center (CDC). Through outside investors, participated in launching first-ever CDC (Combined Distribution Center) in the U.S. a daily distribution system used today at 7-Eleven`s. Oversaw first commissary to supply fresh products to the CDC on a daily basis.

Brand Management. Key member of team that spearheaded development of fresh food and daily distribution programs which revolutionized the convenience store industry. Oversaw first CDC and Commissary where FRESH was 100% the focus and now integral to the 7-Eleven brand.

Strategic Financial Modeling. Conducted robust financial modeling and negotiated $2.7 million to bid for 13 liquor licenses in West Virginia which ultimately rolled into select 7-Eleven stores. Project yielded positive net return in three (3) years.

Division Sales / Promotions Manager

Directed marketing programs and supervised seven (7) sales managers for 800+ stores in Capitol Division, Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia.

Facilities Design. Upon acquisition of 222 Capitol Highs Dairy Stores, redesigned each facility to ensure consistent layout with 7-Eleven`s 800+ stores in Capitol Division. Resulted in widespread customer acceptance and record merchandise sales.

Staff Development. Re-energized struggling team in Baltimore Market through intensive performance improvement program. Capitalized on 20 years average experience among staff while synergizing team efforts into unified direction.
