SENIOR PRODUCT MANAGER

Manage store brands for Walmart / Canada, Big Lots, White Rose, Krasdale, as well as Webster's branded trademarks. Lead the full scope of responsibilities including P&L management, budgeting, operations management, forecasting, cost / benefit analysis, market analysis, and product life-cycle direction. Provide critical analysis support for Walmart / US for all supply-chain management / manufacturing functions. Directly or indirectly manage 45% of total business.

* Catapulted Walmart gross revenue from $23M to $29M in one year by conducting a needs analysis, developing, and introducing a new "green" trashcan liner into Walmart, which is now one of the top-selling "green" can liner products in the country.

* Grew the "Earth Sense" brand of can liners from three SKUs to nine SKUs in only two years, with an increase in revenue from $420K in 2006 to $2.6M in 2009.

* Introduced an in / out promotional product line for DIY hardware chains called Handi-Bag Paint Utility Bag; this product was picked up exclusively by Home Depot, earning an additional $1.1M.

* Saved the company $3.2M by introducing cost-saving production measures in light of the rise in oil prices, including spearheading an initiative that down-gauged can liners without sacrificing strength.

* Worked directly with accounts to gather key points of information to improve forecast accuracy. As a result, achieved 92% accuracy in cases sold vs. cases forecasted, up from 65% the previous year. Also reduced SKUs on shortage reports 43% 2009 vs. 2010.

A multi-retail brand company that includes food-preparation products, tabletop-entertaining merchandise, and home dcor. Markets products under many of the industry's best-known brands, which are sold to specialty stores, department stores, national chains, mass merchants, warehouse clubs, supermarkets, and on the Internet.

PRODUCT MANAGER

Managed accounts for Walmart, Macy's, Kohl's, Target, Bed Bath & Beyond, and Toys "R" Us. Scope of work included P&L management, sourcing factories in China and Thailand, developing / importing consumer home dcor products, negotiating pricing, and determining delivery requirements.

* Transformed a division from unprofitable to $1.2M profit in only one year by solving product shortages that were resulting in canceled orders and loss of business. Partnered with major retailers to establish a three-month forecast for the division's top 10 products to ensure inventory availability.

* Added $4M in revenue with Walmart in 2005 by establishing inventory flow of top seasonal Walmart products to ensure product availability during holiday season.

* Worked closely with retailers to identify their top 10 SKUs as well as the season in which they sold; increased production well in advance of prime season so stores were fully stocked for peak sales.
