Our Invisible Children: An in-depth investigation of the state of, and services provided by, the institutions in Bangladesh that address the issue of disabilities in children and adolescents. The cover story portrayed the lives of visually and hearing impaired children and those afflicted with Autism and Cerebral Palsy among others.

The Rita-Mita Story: The lead story in the Daily New Age newspaper, the feature explored and portrayed the plight of those suffering from schizophrenia. The piece depicts the lives of sisters Dr. Rita and Engineer Mita, revealing their disturbing downward spiral into paranoid schizophrenia, and its consequences. The Rita-Mita story follows their self-induced isolation, their rescue, and finally, their recovery. Doctors and psychiatrists who mapped their physical and mental recovery and the attorney responsible for heading the rescue mission, were interviewed extensively.

Not Turning A Blind Eye: A Feature length article on a philanthropic project undertaken by the Bangladesh Eye Hospital, offering childhood cataract surgery program to the underprivileged in Bangladesh, the first of its kind. The Childhood Cataract Surgery program is responsible not only for providing necessary care and treatment, but in recruiting ailing children and offering orientation to parents on post-operative care.

Feature Editor, Star Literature, Lifestyle supplements, The Daily Star Newspaper May'03 - Aug'04

Film Reviews: Reviews included an eclectic mixture of foreign cinema from countries such as Argentina, Tajikistan, Palestine, Cambodia, Tunisia, and Bangladesh. Reviews covered annual Tri-continental film festivals, and special debut screenings by up and coming film makers.

Book Reviews: Reviews largely featured South Asian writers such as Nonda Chatterjee, Shonali Bose, and Uma Ranganathan.
