WORK EXPERIENCE

Assistant Pastor, WWU Pastor-Mentorship Program: I preach once a month on average, assist with

visitation, was ordained as a local elder in 2010, led out in the Natural Church Development survey

process, am an active church board member, and meet once a week with the pastor for mentoring.

2003 2011 (summer) Camp MiVoden Hayden Lake, ID

Chaplain: I served as camp pastor for 2 weeks, coordinated small groups and prayer partners, was

responsible for the daily staff worship meeting, did Bible studies with staff and studied with campers for

baptism. At the end of the 2010 summer I worked as Assistant Director for a couple of weeks. In past

summers I worked as Boys Counselor, Photography/RC Airplanes Instructor, Arts/Crafts Department

Director, Mission Aviation Specialty Camp Director, and started the Parent Liaison program. I also

assisted in interviewing potential staff at UCC s academies and Walla Walla University.

Assistant Youth Director, Taskforce: I was responsible to plan and lead mission trips, Winter SkiFest,

Bible Conference, and Math Camp. I was responsible to balance an $80,000 mission trip budget as well

as budgets for the other events I planned. I typically preached every other week in various c hurches

around the UCC, went to the NPUC Constituency Meeting in 2006, sat in as a guest on the MiVoden

Operating Board, designed brochures, visited every Adventist school in UCC to do camp promotion,

conducted a couple Weeks of Prayer, and did fundraising.

VISION

My vision is to impact my church and its surrounding community by teaching them the fundamental

truths of God s Word, equipping the saints for their work of service as described in Ephesians 4:11-13,

and preparing them for the imminent return of Jesus Christ.

BIOGRAPHY

I was born and raised in Walla Walla, WA as a member of the Umapine Seventh-

day Adventist Church. I have attended Adventist schools my whole life. I have

traveled extensively around the world both on mission tr ips and personal trips. I

have been on 11 international mission trips and have preached at least 6 evangelistic

series. I am proficient in the German language after going to school in Germany for

one year (2005-2006) and in 2009 I became a dual-citizen of Germany. I enjoy

traveling, flying, driving motorcycles and busses (I have my CDL), photography,

visiting hot springs, and spending time with family and friends.
