Boart Longyear 2010-2012

Fleet Sourcing Manager - (9/2012 - 12/2012)

Developed a 3-year strategic plan to meet long-term objectives. Sourced all supplies and equipment related to a

fleet of over 10,000 units, from lubricants to Drill Rigs. In 3 months implemented a corrective action plan

for a major supplier, saving over $1.2M annually and improving product quality, negotiated over $80k of

immediate savings, and initiated 3 new programs to reduce costs and increase returns by nearly $1M in

2013. Developed 4 new processes to reduce errors and time to order.

Sr. Project Manager, Supply Chain (working at a director level) - (7/2010 - 9/2012)

Managed other project managers. Worked with the Executive team to drive relevant projects in support of

strategic directions. Worked closely with broad cross-functional teams to take a newly established Supply

Chain Organization from 7 people to over 240 in 2 years. Personally responsible for managing over 20

projects. Highlights include creating 7 new Distribution Centers in 7 countries, including team building

MPRI, A Division of L-3 Communications 2008-2010

Sr. Logistician, Egypt Project (duties similar to Operations Manager)

Managed a project to deliver $100M of USAID supported equipment, materials, and supplies to the Arab

Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport in Egypt. Responsible for all functions related to

purchasing, vendor selection, development of ISO processes, Export compliance, Bill of Materials, supplier

management, Logistics, 3PL processes and management, supplier contracts, installation in Egypt, maintenance

and reverse logistics programs. Trained MPRI employees on ISO, project management and Lean quality

processes. Innovate new solutions to new challenges, provided leadership for business improvement.

Deliverables consisted of over 10,000 part numbers in 135 containers that were delivered over one year. Parts

included cutaways of locomotive engines, a planetarium, chemicals and technical measuring equipment.

Iomega Corporation 2005-2008

Project Manager, Reverse Logistics

Responsible for success of Reverse Logistics program for all Iomega products, managing repair vendors,

vendor relationships, contracts, and negotiations. Created innovative, more efficient processes with suppliers,

developed standard operating procedures for testing and repairs, trained suppliers and line employees

on processes and root cause analysis. Developed B-Channel sales strategy, New Product Introduction (NPI)

support, End of Life management, technical processes, RFI/RFQ development, new vendor implementation,

contract development, ISO 9001 and SOX compliance, and other Project Management responsibilities.

Iomega Corporation 1997-2001

Transportation and Shipping Manager, US Manufacturing - (4/2000 - 4/2001)

Responsible for Domestic and International transportation arrangements, contracts, and supplier management

to support US Manufacturing, as well as all shipping functions. Controlled a $12M budget to keep

manufacturing supplied without increasing inventory. Drove inventory accuracy over 99% and prevented

stock outs in an International Just In Time environment while supporting the rollout of 21 New Products.

International Transportation Specialist - (8/1997 - 4/2000)

Contributed as a member of a 6 person global logistics management team, working as a committee to design

and implement RFP's, screen participants, and manage supplier contracts and relationships for the fastest

growing Tech Company in history to that point. Trained and worked directly with manufacturing and

transportation vendors globally to ensure proper handling and shipping of all freight - air and ocean. Track

and trace, reporting, expediting, and troubleshooting for all international shipments. Created a database that

reduced an 8 hour reporting job to 15 minutes, creating an effectively real-time dashboard for the Executive

staff. Managed the departments ISO 9001 compliance.
