Career Focus:

My overall career focus is to one day start a business since I prefer the field of business and entrepreneurship. I have some experience in this field from producing and managing a sweatshirt company that was very profitable for a period of about a year. This project thought me to be organized as well as affable. After attending college, I intend on creating a new business using the capital I earn as a young adult.

Sales/Marketing:

Developed a small local sweatshirt company that I ran individually. I was involved in all aspects of operation from marketing to sales and labor.

School:

Graduated high school early and was able to enroll in college classes early.

Sporting:

I played for the high school golf team and was top 3 freshmen year and number one sophomore and junior year. I learned to ride a water ski as well as a wakeboard, wake surf and wake skate. I learned to ski at an early age and was accepted on to the high school varsity ski team for 2 years. I also participated in many other school sports such as track and field and cross-county. Now I participate in gymnastics and diving to keep in top physical condition for skiing.

Professional experience:

Morris Masonry: Laborer S. Lake Tahoe

Worked as a laborer which is an employee who has many different tasks such as, digging holes, stacking cinder block, retrieving and replacing tools, replenishing concrete for the masons, mixing concrete. Many labor intensive task too less intensive tasks such as picking up trash around the job site. Anything that helped increase productivity and decreased the labor for the masons.

Tahoe paradise golf course: Server S. Lake Tahoe

Worked as a server at a local golf course for 2 summers. Did many different tasks, from serving customers to cleaning and parking carts to cleaning bathrooms. Also emptied trash cans around the course and filled in divots. Filled the water coolers and basically did any job that needed to be done to maintain a golf course.

Worked as a courtesy clerk and stocker. Worked for about 3 weeks and decided to go travel the U.S. I learned many things about customer service and how to handle difficult situations. I feel this was my first real job and it showed me that I could handle a full time job.
