AT&T Wireless 2008 - 2009 Access Program Developer

Created a tracking program to manage all cell towers within Oregon, Washington and

Alaska, including all equipment, maintenance scheduling and contracts.

Merged numerous Excel spreadsheets to provide a coordinated application.

Converted the Excel spreadsheets to an Access application that was easier for various staff members to manage.

Providence Health Plan 2007 - 2008 Access Program Developer

Created Access2003 program that imported a pharmaceutical text file from Argus source, analyzed complex conditional data, produced Medicare compliance letters and stored data for long-term retrieval.

The client assembles curtain wall panels for large building projects from component parts that are imported from various locations. Converted Paradox business and accounting program to Access2000.

Integrated functions that had been done with Word documents and Excel into the Access program to greatly simplify creation of proposals, purchase orders, invoices and accounting reports.

Household International 2000 - 2001 Visual Basic, Excel, Access Programmer

Created VB, Access and Excel automation programs that interacted with mainframe screens.

Automated Excel and proprietary applications to enhance speed of data exchange and reporting for marketing and collection activities.

The client was using a complex Excel application to schedule monthly telemarketing workloads at six remote sites. This was taking a staff member six to eight hours to complete. By automating with VBA coding, the task was completed in less than an hour with greater accuracy.

Created Access97 applications that download data from DB2 and Oracle mainframe source files using pass-through queries, to create daily and monthly reports that track collection efforts.

Data is also exported to Excel for reports and pivot tables.

New Edge Networks 2000 Access Programmer

Created an Access2000 accounting application. Program automates the entry of complex invoices and transfers data to an Oracle accounts payable module. Also complex reports using Access and Crystal Reports 7.

IBM Global Services/Fred Meyer/QFC Food Centers 1999 Foxpro/Access Programmer

Converted Foxpro programs to Access 97 including Y2K remediation.

Modified and enhanced Visual Basic 5 applications.

Supported and modified 20 applications while company merger changed operating system, network layout, and equipment.

Industrial Design Corporation (IDC). 1992-1995 Foxpro Programmer

Developed an estimating program that enabled a single operator to estimate the cost of a billion dollar computer chip facility in minutes. This task formerly required 36 to 60 man/weeks by a team of engineers, designers and estimators.

Converted program to Foxpro2.6 MAC.

Conducted training classes and phone support for users of this software.

Rick's Custom Fencing 1990-1991 Foxbase Programmer

Developed cash receipts and estimating program in FoxBase that was networked between all stores and the home office.

Enabled sales representatives to instantly estimate the cost of fencing and decking installations and produce sales receipts and schedule installations.

Foxbase 1.1 and Novell network.

Oregon State University 1988-1989 Database Programming

Working through staffing agencies, I created, modified and maintained database programs for Oregon State University, City of Tigard and other firms.
