Resume:

Boat work (All over, MD)

To whom it may concern:

My name is Ryan and I'm 25 years old. For the past year or so I've been trying to break into the commerical fishing industry. I want to work on the water. My family and friends think I'm crazy for how obsessed I am about it. I have a passion for it. I've been pursuing all possible opportunities. Whether it be trotline, pots, pulling nets, it doesn't matter I just want to work on the water underneath a captain and learn. I grew up on Long Island sound and moved here when I was 20, so I grew up on the water. On or around boats. I know how to swim well. Fishing experience is limited to recreational. I can tie hooks, and handle fish. This past summer I did a few ride alongs on charters(but that kind of mate work is NOT what I'm looking for) I also ran a trotline every single weekend this past season from my little 10 foot aluminum jon boat. There were a lot of snags but I didn't let anything stop from doing it because I love doing it. Love being out on the water and working hard. I don't drink or smoke. I currently work in new construction, have for the past 5 years so physical labor is not a problem. I like hard work and working with my hands. I know the pay fluctuates and it's all on what you catch but I'm at a point in my life, single with no kids, that I can do this. I know good help is hard to find but I can promise to show up every day and on time, to give you 100%, and to listen. I'm just looking for an opportunity. I know crab season is fast approaching and I thought that maybe an ad on cl might help me. So any captains out there who need help and are willing to give a greenhorn a chance please email me back or call me at 24064057fiveseven.

Thank you for your time,

Ryan
