PROFILE OF MRS. IFEOMA C. ANA

Mrs. Ifeoma C. Ana had her high school education in Basden Memorial secondary school Isulo, Anambra State Nigeria where she came out with distinction in Division 1. She is a National Diploma graduate of Nigerian's foremost College, Yaba College of Technology in Lagos Nigeria from where she again bagged a Distinction of National diploma in Accountancy. She is an associate member, Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria(ACA), Fellow, Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria(FCIB), Associate Member; Institute of Pension Managers of Nigeria(ACIP) and a Certified Trainer by the Centre for Management Development in Nigeria(CCMD). Additionally, Mrs. Ifeoma Ana holds an MBA with major in Banking and Finance from Enugu State University of Technology, Enugu State, Nigeria. She has attended numerous local and international banking, financial leadership, micro-finance and management courses.

Ifeoma Ana authored a 354 banking booktext book titled "Beyond the Banking Hall; Banking Simplified for Customers and Students"

Mrs Ana has had over 25 years cognate commercial banking experience at various levels of management. She rose to the position of Head, Risk Management and Control Group in Universal Trust Bank PLC (UTB) in Lagos Nigeria and held the position from year 2000 to 2005. Ifeoma Ana has had hands on microfinance banking experience as the MD/CEO of a Nigerian microfinance Bank for 3 years between 2006 and 2009. She also has considerable experience in financial consulting services for various levels of Government, Corporate bodies and banking regulators.

She was the Managing Consultant, Chief Operating Officer of Lincon Luther Consult Nigeria from January 2010 up to October 2012 when she relocated to USA on obtaining the Permanent Residence status.

Ifeoma Ana has a flair for lecturing risk management/credit programs as well as microfinance programs and she lectured for the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigerian (CIBN), Financial Institutions Training Centre (FITC), and Institute of Chartered Accounts of Nigeria among others. Ifeoma Ana has acquired great proficiency in Risk Management in banks having practiced, studied, lectured, and facilitated training programs on various aspects of banking risks with emphasis and specialty in credit risk management for over 20 years of her banking career.

In year 2009, she was given a Gold award by the Corporate and Media African Communications as a Distinguished Leader in National Development

On the International front, Ifeoma Ana is a year 2000 African Best and Brightest Banker awardee by IFESH & USAID.

She has acquired tremendous competencies in Micro financing through international conferences and training and through her relationship with Oikocredit International, a world-wide ecumenical micro credit organization. Ifeoma Ana worked to ensure that Oikocredit International established a presence in Nigeria and in recognition of her work and passion; Oikocredit has made her the sole Nigerian Director in Oikocredit Nigeria Ltd

She was the first President of Women in Banking, Finance and Investments in Nigeria (WIBAFIN). She was also an EXCO member of Association of Professional Women Bankers (APWB). She is a member, Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria (SWAN), Trustee, Lagos Presbyterian Women's Guild Welfound (an NGO for care of Widows) Trustee, Foundation For Christian Covenant Partners(An NGO that funds church projects).

Mrs Ifeoma Ana is a self-starter and who takes pleasures in her jobs and applies her talents and job ethics very seriously for her personal and organizational benefits. Ifeoma Ana does not mind extensive travels on and for her job or working for her employers in countries outside of USA.

Ifeoma Ana has widely travelled to Europe, Africa and Asian Countries. Her Hobbies is in writing, reading and Christian activities.
