Responsible for implementing energy conservation measures at 72 North American locations through site audit, evaluations, recommendations, scope of work development, solicitation of bids and compliance of project specifications. Primary function was to reduce energy costs and enhance revenue per unit produced in order to improve business site competitiveness.

* Promoted and developed plans to meet mandatory company goal of reducing kWh/lb. of production by 15% from baseline year of 2011.

* Communicated energy information and best practices across sites, implemented international strategies in alignment with Corporate and supply chain energy goals.

* Led company-wide energy awareness campaign by editing monthly energy awareness editorials, and offering on-site instruction.

* Identified and developed suggested retrofit and/or upgrade alternatives for energy efficiency projects, assisted in design, ensured scope of work for bidding and compliance.

* Identified prioritized projects for proper funding mechanisms based on programming accurate BLCC-10 life cycle costs analysis preparation.

* Ensured compliance and accomplished executive orders and mandates to reduce energy per square foot at all Bases and Forts. Sheppard Air Force Base alone encompassed over 8M square feet of buildings.

* Achieved all desired deliverables in response to data calls, assigned tasker's, suspense's, and reporting required from MAJCOM, Air Staff at Pentagon, or Air Force Civil Engineering Service Administration at Tyndall Air Force Base.

* Maintained a very robust "Energy Awareness" campaign to promote a cultural change of attitude, acceptance, and adoption of energy reduction goals aimed at Base populace including monthly briefings, energy awareness days and video productions.

NESTLE WATERS NORTH AMERICA (NWNA)

International Energy Manager, Coppell, TX

Primary function was to reduce energy costs and enhance revenue per unit produced in order to improve business site competitiveness. Communicated energy information and best practices across sites, implemented international strategies in alignment with Corporate and supply chain energy goals.

* Conducted energy audits of 25 NWNA plants throughout America and Canada and developed plans for capturing and sustaining improvements by retrofitting or re-commissioning of existing infrastructure. Assisted with recommendations and review of new construction.

* Provided thermography and ultrasonic testing while conducting energy audits.

* Served as single point-of-contact to sites on energy related issues, answered routine and ad hoc information requests that were regional, international or site specific in nature.

* Developed awareness of and promoted utilization of energy management resources to save time and money at the site level. Educated and influenced stakeholders including managing interaction with utility and marketing counterparties to gain the maximum value from their power generation capabilities and ensuring the capture of available rebates and incentives for approved projects.

* I later worked within the Sylvania Lighting Services division as a sales representative promoting Sylvania lighting products and service contracts.
