Quality Control/Quality Assurance supervisor (OIC) for a military unit that owns thirty UH-60L Blackhawk Helicopters.

Five years experience as a UH-60 Maintenance Test Pilot/Maintenance Officer.

Mature and dedicated professional with five years experience as a maintenance manager in a rapidly deployable Blackhawk helicopter unit in the US Army.

Technically proficient at repairing, servicing, and troubleshooting aircraft systems including engines, rotors, gearboxes, fuel systems, hydraulics, flight controls, landing gear, avionics, minor sheet-metal, and drive lines.

Capable and experienced at maintaining aircraft forms and records.

Proficient on all forms of logbook systems, including ULLS-A, ELAS, and Saphire.

Proficient in the use of such computer programs as MS Office and MS Works.

Mastered the use and interpretation of aircraft technical manuals and blueprints.

PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

JTDI Fielding Team Lead Aranea Solutions Inc., Huntsville AL February 2009 to November 2012

Responsible to perform duties as a dedicated Army Aviation JTDI Fielding Team Lead, deploying team throughout the world in order to bring units up to the current standard of data movement. Visit customer sites on deployments to perform JTDI software and/or network equipment installation and to many units requiring reinstallation or upgrades. Responsible to oversee and conduct training to unit personnel on the use, troubleshooting, and installation of JTDI software. Responsible to submit timely and accurate fielding and sustainment handoff reports. Also assisted unit personnel with limited CBM software (PC-GBS, IVHMS GSS) installation and troubleshooting.

Battalion Quality Control/Quality Assurance Officer- 2nd Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, Fort Bragg North Carolina, April 2008 to February 2009

Responsible for advising the Maintenance Company Commander and Battalion Aviation Maintenance Officer on all matters relating to Quality Control. Coordinated with the Battalion Aviation Maintenance Officer and Production Control Officer in Charge throughout all phases of production management to ensure a high quality standard of maintenance. Responsible for receiving, monitoring and implementing aviation maintenance advisory messages(i.e. Safety of Flight, Aviation Safety Action Messages, Maintenance Information Messages, etc.) throughout the battalion. Monitored the activities of ten assigned Technical Inspectors. Monitored the battalions weight and balance program. Coordinated with Production Control and Logistical Assistance Representatives or manufacturer Technical Representatives for support and for approval of non-standard procedures, materials, or methods.

UH-60 A/L Maintenance Test Pilot/Maintenance Officer- A Company, 2nd Battalion, 2nd Aviation Brigade, Republic of Korea, B Company, 2nd Battalion, 82nd Combat Aviation Brigade, Fort Bragg North Carolina and Bagram Afghanistan, September 2004-April 2008

Responsible for maintaining proficiency in all aspects of utility helicopter operations including day, night, Night Vision Goggle, and instrument conditions. Responsible for exercising and enforcing the Commanders maintenance program to include scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. Responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable Aviation Safety Action Messages (ASAM), Safety of Flight (SOF), Maintenance Information Messages (MIM), Technical Bulletin (TB), and Modification Work Order (MWO). Responsible for ensuring high standards of compliance with maintenance manuals by acting as a Technical Inspector (TI). Responsible for assigning aircraft for daily flights to ensure proper spacing of scheduled maintenance requirements. Responsible for tasking assignments to two Maintenance Test Pilots. Supported deployments to the Bahamas by overseeing all maintenance conducted on seven specially modified UH-60L Blackhawk helicopters.

Responsible for maintaining proficiency in all aspects of utility helicopter operations including day, night, Night Vision Goggle, and instrument conditions. Responsible for resourcing personnel and airframes in order to meet mission requirements. Responsible for coordinating with supported units to clearly define aviations complex role. Responsible for advising the commander on his aviation resources and mission schedule. Responsible for tracking individual aviators currency of flight requirements, total flight time, and crew rest requirements. Responsible for managing flight records of over 30 personnel.
